I wonder why Iruka is here,Yeah I know its war and all current forces are mustered,but who is technically taking care of the Young ins'(Konohamaru et al) I might speculate that Senju Nawaki might have been a Chuunin at the time he died (information on that a bit sketchy) but I clearly recalled that during Madara's mad dash for the Kyuubi 16 years ago, the younglings of that time Kakashi,Kurenai,Guy and a couple of others who were quite talented and had seen a lot of skirmishes (Heck Kakashi was a Jonin at that time and an ANBU member) Yuuhi the elder(I believe that picture showed three of them the Father,an elder brother and Kurenai who was all down for combat ) but they were sequestered them, with a firm warning, a barrier and guards to boot that the should not to interfere Naruto Chapter 503;Page 9, except on the condition that it was an all out war or another village attacking Konoha.I get that the Konoha eleven (at present) are participating and are doing a lot of good on the battlefield, but will the likes of Konohamaru and older Genins ever see battle? And the mischief that Bee is working up seems a bit farfetched but Hey...we actually don't know what his intentions are?If he too happens to be letting off steam as per been given a Baby sitting job, I feel his Pain

Konohamaru and squad are probably guarding the village (what's left of it). Iruka wouldn't be guarding them since they aren't in the academy anymore. Other than Jiraiya and Kakashi, Iruka is probably the only other person Naruto will really listen to; so he is the ideal candidate to keep Naruto hidden away, in the case of Naruto trying to escape.

I am really glad with this chapter, because it ended that weak Asuma vs Ino-Chika-Cho. A dissapoinment, because I was expecting something better from this fight. Now, Choji will obtain a power up without any solid base. I just hope he could become the first Sasuke's victim.

@Kachi: I don't know what Iruka is doing there, but at the same time. They should know by now, that by force any Konoha villager could oppose Naruto, so they have to stop him emotionally, Iruka is the best choice.

If Madara wanted to fu** those villages he should attack them in their village. Right now they are defenseless, even those useless white zetsus could make a party with those villagers, so they could divide the alliance army to their respective homes and they could obtain some advantage in this war.

It would be a really mean strategy, but in theory Madara & Co are heartless men.
