For a chapter with almost no action it was pretty decent and I liked it.

It would seem that Chouji is out of the woods(Haxxiy hope you will be more forgiving towards this character). The chapter did show the special relationship between the Ino-Shika-Chou Clans and their allegiance to the Sarutobis. It was pretty neat. I'm actually amazed that the present team ten are actually (I believe I'm allowed to speculate) respective Clan leaders and next generational heads, also that the Yuuhi Clan (Kurenai' Father and brother if he is still alive would be proud of that match), considering the change/resolve of Chouji and the fact that this particular chapter is about him is the next step for all Konoha rookies that are partaking in this war,whats up with Ten Ten suddenly acquiring the fabled Banana fan belonging formerly to the Kin/Gin Tag team of Kumogakure No Sato(Would General Darui confisticate it? Or would Ten Ten gain an invaluable asset in her already considerable weapons scroll?). I really do give Kudos to this chapter, and praise the Author, it sure was worth the wait(Is there a specific timing for the Manga's? PLEASE REPLY ANYONE with Information on this issue)

@ kachi - meh, not at all. It would be believable if Chouji was like 10 or 11, but damn, he's like 17. Ninjas shouldn't behave like that at all, even more considering the war he's supposedly fighting. He could be fighting his parents and still have no right to hesitate, but instead Kishimoto pulls a Red Bull on us and give him wings. God, he gave him wings. How delightful/boring.

Come on, let's move out of the damned fillers Kishi.

The first 15 pages I was really piss. But, it seems that Chouji is going to unleashed his power. I think most of readers don't give a s**t about him, so that's the problem why Kishimoto has to spend at least a couple of chapters more with that fight or with that character.

@Kachi: That would be a huge power up for Ten Ten.

@Haxxiy.There is a famous quote by one of the most reputable Generals in history(I think Tecumbeh) that "War is HELL", I still reiterate that most people in Konoha and other Shinobi are not used to ravages of war nor the horror associated with it,at the formation of the Special squads C/Shee of the Sensor Squad remarked that he was unused to war which Ao chided for,I used this example because C/Shee of Kumogakure is well regarded/talented to have escorted the Raikage(Who is wellknown for priding Strength over Tact) so this war is a first for all this generation and others.As for this been a filler...Hmmnn well we are getting the backstory of some Shinobi's formerly shrouded in secrecy, though admittably the pace is indeed slow but we will continue to plow with the Author and hope to get a befitting ending to the Uzumaki Naruto Monogatari.
