:naruto_clapclap: Splendid, absolutely splendid. It was a complete reversal of roles. At present Shanshou No Hanzou on his knees, decades ago Mifune was on his knees each with his weapon of choice broken (then and now) and words edged in memory, and actions engraved in the soul. It was more than just a psychological battle, it was a battle of ideals, that shape us and make us into who were are today. It showed the core of Shinobi and the unwavering spirit of the Samurai one that stands firm in adversity even when the shadow of death itself creeps. Kishimoto Masashi-Sensei you have captured the defining moments of two people worthy of praise, befitting of honour and veneration...I'm lost for words to describe how this affects me personally...

A little slack on the fellow Haxxiy, to Shinobi of Konoha of their generation war is an alien thing, and Chouji in particular seem to always have a rough 'end'.First Asuma's death, next he watched while his father was brought to the bring of death with another unnamed clan member, plus the sacrifice of Kakashi during the attack of Konoha by Pein after this events, its only natural that he has a frail constitution around death and dying. Coming to terms with it will take time, but eventually I suspect that he will come around(Lets hope its not fatal to his team mates).A little patience, there is a reason why the author is concerntrating on him right now, give him a benefit of doubt :naruto_question:

I won't deny that was an interesting chapter. I think that flashback add some maturity to this manga. Hanzou was like a collector of opponents, every time he found someone worthy he tried to make them stronger. So, I guess the same applied with the Sannin.

I support you, Haxxy. DIE Chouji or whoever important in the alliance or Kabuto get smater or something this one sided battles are making the war too easy for the Alliance.

At war nobody cares if you had a sad tragic past or is the father of little children. You walk to the wrong site or hesitate at the wrong moment and you are dead and this is exactly what happened to Chouji and countless ones before him and only escaped at the last moment because Kishi pulled a cheap way to save them. I stand saying that so far the chunin exam years ago felt and was ten times more dangerous than this pseudo-war is actually being.

Bleh this war is far too happy, cute and easy. So far the shinobi alliance are beating some of the world's strongest ninja with relative ease (even when they, the allies are quite weak by comparison) and every second fight here has some ultimate bad guy ending up being a super good guy with some emotional ending. It's getting way too tired and predictable, it's beginning to feel exactly like bleach (hurr derp all bad guys are good guys, good guys always win and nobody ever dies). I was super excited when it looked like Chouji was going to die, which would actually add some legitimate drama, excitement and unpredictability but jk, he was saved. This is my least favorite arc in Naruto in quite some time. Kishi better mix it up real quick, because so far every fight has been basically exactly the same.

...I have to say Chouji made a mistake and should be very badly damaged if not dead... it is a war. I'm growing a little tired of the war myself... I like the added info that I haven't had before but it just seems way too easy for a war... I've been expecting someone to bite the dust, and so far the only ones to bite it are the so called bad guys that are getting offed a little too easy... *sigh* I hope it pics up a bit.

Okay, so I am known to be supporting the good guys and rather have all the evil guys die. However, I want at least one good guy who is somewhat important to the plot to die. I have to agree that seeing all these "Legendary" shinobis attacking the alliance at once and seeing them get pummeled is a bit irritating. But, I do have to bring up my previous argument that the alliance have been much more prepared then Kabuto/Madaras forces. Plus, the fact that luck is on the alliance side.

I will also bring up the one thing that is crucial in any battle/war. The one thing that I learned through all my senseis out here in the real world. Never underestimate your opponent. Obviously, the alliance is not underestimating them however, Kabuto and Madara surely is. You can tell by kabutos face in this chapter. The alliance is being smart and tactful. While Kabutos forces although strong, they are being reckless thus there easily defeated. I doubt we will see Chouji die but you never know. Great chapter and an epic confrontation between Hanzou and Mifune.

Exacta(To borrow the phrase from a water spewwing Arancar). That is exactly what Madara and the Idiotic Kabuto are doing...Most of the awakened Shinobi boast of this, infact the foul mouthed Deidara said it all time prior to his capture. To Kabuto this war is all about "Data Gathering"(For What You may ask?) I'm also not in the know. For Madara whose Battle experience is far superior to the Kages and the Alliance, I expected something more carefully, and cautiously executed strategem but since his outburst about 'Tired of all the sneaking around and his Moon Eye's Plan', he has seemed to only enjoy employing brutal tactics to crush his enemies or get what he wants, to him everything is insignificant as long as he gets what he wants at the end,and so far he is over confident that he has the vast numbers of the white Zetsus so what the hell(And I suspect he can make countless more). Not to mention all the resurrected Shinobi were once the pride of their villages or infamous enough to cause a scare but still known nonetheless. An example is the fact that Chiyo-Baa knew almost all of Hanzou's moves and a way to negate them and willingly shared the information with Kankorou's team so luck plays a major role in this war and if it continues like this we may have the Alliance as grand victors with 'some' casualty. :naruto_question:
