I won't bother about the war anymore, because I know it won't show anything interesting. I like the fact that Naruto is becoming a kind of Yoda. Now, he feels disturbances of the force.

Yay!! I missed Naruto.


Well I didn't mind today's chapter. I was kind of expecting Shika-ino-cho to make an appearance, and they did do one of their signature plays so not to shabby. Kinda nice to get some more information about the Cloud Shinobi too.

But I do have to say that with Naruto's appearance that hopefully we will see a bit more of him and Bee. I liked how he could tell there was something out there, but my guess is that it's because it's the Kyuubi's chakra that Naruto noticed it.

But I give the chapter a 8/10

I don't understand that Otaku.It is actually showing lots of interesting things like background on seven swordsman which I thought we would never see anything about them, the cloud village and the relationship they have had with konoha. We have learned so much about characters old and new. I mean in this chapter we learned that the second Hokage was defeated by Kinkaku and how he and his brother could be distant relatives of the Rikudou sennin which is very interesting. Plus, we have seen new techniques being displayed. But I guess to each his/her own.

Personally, I like this chapter as I am very content seeing the alliance wipe out Kabuchimarus forces. The guy is irritating as it is besides, we all know the real threat here is Sasuke and Madara.

I agree that the main two threats are Sasuke and Madara...

They have more power, not saying that the demon resurrection shinobi, don't have power, because they do, I just believe that there is more history, and experience than with Sasuke and Madara. Which gives the allied shinobi's the upper hand when it comes to dealing with them. Not to mention, The allied shinobi's are also exposing secrets for the different villages shinobi that were resurrected by Kabuchimaru. So I believe that the real battles or at least lengthy ones will occur when it is involving Sasuke or Madara... But that's just my opinion... Take it or leave it.

I like Naruto and I think I will like it till this manga ends and I will read it every week no matter how bad or good it is. But, I think this war is similar to filler episodes in anime. Some of them are interesting, some of them could give you interesting info, but it doesn't give anything new to the plot. I mean in theory all those guys are top ninjas, both sides, so it's normal that they fight well with lots of techs. But, anything amazing has happened, at least not for the moment, maybe in future chapters I will change my mind about it. But, now we know how the summonings are defeated, we know that most of them are going to be beaten in the same way (talking, luck and strategy), but as you I am willing that this war could make a better manga. And as Ayameko said, the main dish will be; Sasuke, Madara and Kabuto (by himself I'm still have hope in him)

I second that. Frankly, we've seen a lot of action but not many forward movement, and chapters like these are like guests, as Franklin would say, stinking when they stay for too long. A bit like Luthien's tale in the fellowship of the ring book - nice man, congrats, your world has an history, but why on Earth should I care? Make your characters do something interesting instead and I'd appreciate your tale more.
You see, if it focused on the, say, seven swordsmen of the mist only for some three or four chapters while the war progresses around with REAL danger to the ninjas (so far the edo tensei has been useless for nobody seems to die agains these zombies. There isn't even tension), I would understand, but the whole thing feels way too... diffuse. Like Kishimoto is trying to shoot at everybody at once and ending up hitting no one.

Okay, I see the point now. However, I spersonally still think it is very interesting because we are learning more about the past. We are learning more about the history of Konoha their Shinobis, The Cloud Village and their shinobis, seven swordsman of the mist, characters that apparently had great power and great influence on the shinobi world in the past and still do in the present. But i see the aggravation now that some of you have with this war. No one that is important to the plot is dieing on the alliance side. Maybe this is just Kishimoto showing how strong the alliance is and once they wipe out all these "zombies", Sasuke will be released to take care of them. In a way, is to show how strong Sasuke has become since obtaining the EMS since we have yet to see what he can do now.

Oh, and one saying I will always live by. To understand the future, one must know more about the past.

I agree a lot with your last sentence, but maybe for some stuff it'd better be done outside the manga, maybe in some extra books or whatever. It worked wonders for Star Wars - anyone watching the movies know the basic plot, but the true fans are given the opportunity to go real deep in the universe.
