I herd not to long ago that Microsoft was going to get invloved in the hand held market as well as the music market with one portable system killing both apple's IPod and the sony psp at the same time. Is this roumer true and do you think Microsoft can do it, or have they bitten off more than they can chew?

I heard little of this, too. I think they're barking a little too much.

PSP and those Iods, or whatever, are popular as hell. Microsoft would have to come out with something that can send you to the moon, in order for it to dominate.

Yeah, and who is going to put out for something they already own? Microsoft gets on my nerves; they think they can dominate everything, and they can bring in their Whatever at the last min. (*cough* Xbox *cough*) or bring in a system with sub-par games (360) and believe that everyone wil buy it at it's hiked up price. I really and truly think that Nintendo and Sony are going to dominate in the gaming industry while Microsoft will be eating their dust.

Top Spin 2 comes out on Monday, so that should cover everything for me for the system.

I think microsoft could put out a system like that but i don't think people will by it because people will already own stuff like that.

i agree its a little late to talk about this but it is microsoft we are talking about they will do anything for five extra bucks

Microsoft in the portable game industry....God forbid!

But anyway, they don't really have much of a chance, the PSP is doing alright and the Nintendo DS is dominating with selling well over 10,000,000 units.

Going into it now would be pretty stupid.

I highly doubt microsoft CAN put out a portable, but if they do, an "portable Xbox would be great news

a hand held x box would be cool but i dont think it would be as good as a psp i have a psp and its just awesome also theres no way it woulb get better than an ipod they are everywhere i dont hve one but all of my friends do,anyway i would like to see a handheld x boxit would be cool

i think microsoft will do good and the will have a kick butt handheld system, but if they don't play their cards right, they might lose the game LOL!!!

If Microsoft should put out a portable gaming system I will hunt down and shoot everyone of the idiots that decided to do it. Right now Microsoft is digging itself so far into their own hole with the Xbox360 and if they put out a portable watch out China because there could be a hole coming to a street near you.

If microsoft makes a held system I'm not sure if I would buy it, I don't trust microsoft.

wow portables are jus stupid now because there tryna make em so much more grahical and it pumps the price so high and on top of that psp sucks azz im tired of looking down at a small screen tryna play sum crappy game they need to X out portable consoles and jus focus on the real consoles
