about the question...anbu members i think have no life besides being anbu due to the fact that they are close to the kage and are close to all the secrets of the village so they must have no attachment to anything other then the village so they cant be blackmailed or bribed and so on...

Yep jounin's r higher den ANBU..... I think I don't need to prove it... U can go to our job section and see dat anbu is at 20 lvl and jounin is at 30 lvl so....... and in the Anime well.... Itachi first became an ANBU and den he was going to be a jounin but unfornately he disappeared from the village.

no you can stell become an jounin even your not in the abnu squad.The head jounin is a special jounin well that's what i think

horus ur second question doesn't make sense to me but the first one I would say dat the hea anbu most of the time is probably jounin who is well experianced in battles and stuff. Just like Ibiki... he is the head of the chunnin squad and he is a jounin so... it will be same thing in anbu squad but den again I am not sure cuz der is not enuf info. Well dats all for me......

no i dont think he is due to the fact the hokage needs to remain in the village to keep balance

ok i now know that anbu do have real lifes
cause itachi was anbu but he was still interactive with his family
also i now know also that its not above jounin, jounin however dont have to be anbu to become jounin, anbu are more on the side of elite chuunin how are intrusted to higher missions

but what if the hokage is the head anbu but the hokage does not do mission out of konoha...

sorry if im wrong, but i remember seeing the episode when sarutobi and the anbu have discover bout orochimaru's forbidden technique and his secret hideout in konoha
(when orochimaru was a konoha nin) sarutobi was involved...
maybe hokage is the head, but only when the hokage is really needed somewhere in konoha he join the action( if the anbu's and the jounin can't handle the problem of cuz)

i think he went that time cause he was oro's sensei and knew noone else would be able to beat him
oro did say that 10 years ago he could have beat him so that means only he could have beaten him but he let him go

i think there are 3 divisions healing,missions,guardians
healing-accompany the missions and heal
missions-takes on missions like hunting missing nin and s-missions
guardians-protect the village and interagate and anything else inside the village

Well guys ANBU have different divisions as it is already mentioned by someone here(horus I believe) so der is different lvls of it too... Ibiki is an ANBU leader of Introgarrtion force plus he is a Jounin who leads Chunins... by dis I can make a assumption dat ANBU is full of different lvl Jounins and Chunins... and guess wat guys... ONIN or Hunter nins r also Jounins or Chunins... the S ranked missions r actually to erase some deadly ppl like Missing nins... ahhh back to the topic the HEAD of the ANBU well let see who could dat be after we have sooooooo much info... Hokage is the elite ninja right guys... and plus he or she is the one who assigns the jobs right guys... so most probably he or she could be the leader but I think der is a Jounin who is the strongest of all and probably eligible to become the next Hokage, the most elite one, is most probably the HEAD of ANBU... but tho we have no clue who it is most probably he will be revealed in a big battle wen he saves Konoha from a big monster like Akatsuki or sumthing like dat...

i dont think he was head anbu, no doubt he was good enough but he seems like the type who enjoys life and i doubt he would go and do all that, most likely the 3rd picked him due to the fact he was very skilled and he was a jounin and was picked after training kakashi.

Yea I forgot to answer my own question... hmmmm... I think he probably was head of a division at ANBU or maybe he never joined the ANBU cuz he was too good for it... and one more thing horus... Yondaime is NOT a joyful guy... he is more like Itachi... do some research and I betcha u will find dat info... He was joyful but something dramatic happened in his life and he completely changed..... just like Kakashi... he was a very joyful guy but wen he finished his training with Yondaime he became all melacholy(sp).... dats all for me...
