here's a little more info for people about the series

Daisuke Niwa is an ordinary middle school student with an extrodinary genetic "condition." Whenever he startsd longing for the girl of his dreams, he transforms into into the legendary Phantom Theif, Dark! The only way to lift the curse? to have his love returned of course. But how can Daisuke win the heart of the girl if he not good at romance?

I watched the first few episodes of the anime and it seems okay.

Seems very shonen-ai to me though...can't imagine guys watching it for extended periods of time.

i finished the anime series and liked it, have yet to finish the manga series though... it was overall pretty good. if i could... i would mix some parts from the manga and anime... but thats just my opinion. i also liked the dark coat at the end of the anime ^^;;
