So you've just recently downloaded a video, took ya a while to get it too, but now when you try to play it, it won't work...........................THE HORROR!!!!!

Don't fear, most likely all you have to do is download a few simple programs and you'll be set happy.gif

So first off, to play your video's get VLC player

Click here to download VLC

Now try playing your video through vlc player, if it doesnt work then we'll need another program that installs codecs onto your system, codec's are little programs that help multimedia players like vlc, windows media player, winamp, etc, understand how to play movies and audio.

Now try it in VLC player again, it should work happy.gif

It is strongly recommend you unistall all the codecs you have to play your anime... including divx, xvid, ogg, mkv, and all that good stuff... heres a link that gives you 2 good media players and a bunch of codecs... juss download it and install

CCCP is a good pack, but missing a few things.

K-Lite codec pack is better if you want a more complete package (abeit larger download.)

does k-lite come with any media players?

The Codec pack comes with Media Player Classic which is the only one you really need.

The Mega pack also comes with BS Player, which is cool as well . . .

these would come in handy when watching anime on pc.

ok all you need to do is downlaod the MKV FUll pack and that has every media file it has from DIVX Codec to VLC Codecs and MKV files as well

MKV full pack is lacking... CCCP and K-lite are better...

for those who dont like VLC's interface and prefer the OLD windows media player interface (you know the one that isnt bulky and doesnt **** up all the time) you can get media player classic at http://guliverkli.sourceforge.net

It will run all media from DVD's to realplayer and quicktime videos within the same interface as long as you have the codec installed
