Well, as the title/description explain, I don't know what the deal is with the finishing move in the RPG, what's the point? And why are there two attack buttons when you enter a battle? Answers to these questions would be appreciated.

The finishing move is a move that you can use when your HP is extremely low. When used, it releases a powerful attack similar to the effect of using the rage command. As for the 2 attack buttons, I'm not sure, but I think they have something to do with the type of attack used.

Ok, that sounds simple enough, is the finishing move automatically used or is there a command for it?

command.
also little known fact about it.
It makes us look cool while in reality we were no cooler with or without it. In retrospect, we weren't cool at all.

Ok, cool. It'll say something like "finishing move" as the attack right? Or is it that 2nd attack button? Does it work the same way with rage?

In your RPG profile area, the finishing move is whatever attack you name as your special move. It will appear on the screen during battles when you have low HP. It will appear as a seperate option from the attack buttons. As for rage, in battle, rage will build up, and when it raches 100%, you can unleash a rage attack, draining the meter back to 0. Anything else?

wait, how low of an HP do you need to use 'finishing move'? into the single digits?
and i don't think i can survive long enough to get my rage to 100%

your rage increases each battle so if you lose many battles by the next time your rage will be full.

nightninja
Mar 15 2006, 08:57 PM

-1st attack button is physical (weapon)
-2nd attack button is chakra/magic
-special attack is 2nd button once under 10%HP (between brackets)
-rage attack once rage gage at 100% (after loosing battles)
