Ok, so FFVII:AC came out awhile back, and I just finished watching it again, so I decided to put a "review" up here. First of all, the movie was awesome. The CGs are amazing. However, there are some *issues* that I have. For one, the battles, while extremely intense and awesome, were too quick, so that even if you knew the beautiful CGs were there, you couldn't appreciate them. Second, in the main battle against Bahamut, when all the main characters show up and are flying around, they all sound like cars as they move. Another thing is that the people who translated it did well, but there wre parts that could have been better (which is why I'm fervently awaiting the American release, even though it'll probably be worse). In the end, though, the movie was a great continuation of the storyline and by far surpassed the shoddy storyline and quality of Spirits Within, which was more of a joke than anything.

the fight scenes were intense, and super fast, but the movie was great you should check out the final fantasy 7 anime that came with it too.

i heard there was an anime for it like for the game but not AC.

K so yea the ending wes spectacular, and the fights were great, and ya so clearly Vincent (my favorite character) is spawn. lol

FFVII AC was awesome. I'll admit the storyline can be a bit confusing but sweet graphicks and kick @$$ fighting scenes more than carries this one over. If FF Spirits Within was like FFVII maybe it won't have bombed so badly at the box office.

I was shocked that i actually rank this as number one on my altime favorites.

FF7 AC Information

ff ac was more eye candy then the great movie i had expected. there wer eno build up to anything and things poped out of nowhere. like whne they asked "so this clone can become sephiroth" "yes". where the hell did that come from. if u ask me this movie needed another hour to fill in a lot of blanks.

I totally agree, FF7 is one of my favorite series and I believe they could have just added a little bit more, "Umph", to the movie. Maybe have Vincent use some of his limit breaks, or a barrage of summons attacking them all? How much I prayed to watch Cloud cut through Knights of the Round.

Great animation, and it continued the series pretty well, I guess.

What's the manga called again? I heard of it before...um, is it Tsubasa? Or am I completely off?

Has anybody seen the fake subtitles for the movie? They're really funny...

it was ok. the fights were awesome, but they moved so fast it was kinda tricky to tell what was going on. the story wasnt exactly amazing, but it was passable.
and the turks kick a**. they need a timon and pumbaa style spin-off movie.

nice review,short and right to the point.the anime was overall good though.Great action scenes and finishin off greatly with the fight between sephiroth

I never played the game, but does the movie explains the story or I have to play the game to understand it?
Is the movie only to Final Fantasy VII fans?

I enjoyed the movie, although there were a few odd bits and the translation was shocking.

The ending was terrible. To see Sephiroth, in my opinion the most intense enemy of any of the final fantasy games taken out so suddenly was dissapointing.

I sat there and thought "is that it ? Surely hes gona jump out and surprise Cloud" But nope.

And the way they didnt use Aries name. If you'd never played FF7 you'd struggle to understand what that was all about.

The action was great, very nice to see a black man speaking Japanese, and to see Vincent fight. In the game the bad graphics (which were great for the time) hinder your image of the fights. It was nice to see it flow.

All in all 8/10. It gets bonus points becuase i love the characters

I've noticed that mostly only people who have played FF7 appreciate this movie. MOSTLY! some people who havnt played it can.
