I get it all the time.
BUT only when I'm playing a

Resident Evil game.
I've seen it on Resident Evil and Resident Evil 4. Nowhere else.
What about you guys?

I have yet to see it at all and I play resident evil games on my cube all the time (especially 4)
Try wiping the lens with something EXTREMELY soft and really soft or if your afraid of messing it up go take it to be repaired

How do you handle your GC?
I even play some import games on my GC and that requires some disc swapping, even then I've never encountered that message.
Maybe cleaning your lens with some soft cloth will solve the problem as Satan suggested otherwise your lens is off the mark and then the only solution is to get it repaired.
