What do you mean by 'when you try to play RO'? Is it during the patching of kRO/sakray?

CakeRO button huh...you mean the icon on the desktop/folder/start menu?
I guess you're trying to run the CakeRO patcher, correct me if I'm wrong.

If it's the CakeRO patcher you're trying to run, and the play button never becomes available to click on, there are a few possibilities I can think of.
1. The patch server is down, so you can't finish patching, therefore you can't play.
2. The OS you're using (i.e. windows version) isn't compatible with the patch client. This shouldn't be the case if you're running on Windows XP, since all patch clients are made to work on it.

Btw, what did you try to update? kRO, sakray, or CakeRO?

I can't answer your last question though, coz I'm not a registered user in AC ~_~

Actually I'm fine with pretty much anything, as long as the system is fair to all etc. As someone suggested, a sig can be made for the winner. Working in singles and groups have both pros and cons. Working in a group will of course promote teamwork, but more often that not, the team member who starts the earliest will go all the way and finish everything on his/her own. Just like what happened to my group in the past Halloween event. So if we want to make it work, we need to think of a way to get ALL the group members involved to complete a task.

Enough about the event. I might be looking for a high-rate RO server to play on in the future and I kinda took CakeRO into consideration, but if it's screwing up like how you said it, then how about we all start anew in another better private server? o.o

First of all, you aren't even a member of this clan. Second, if you've read the past one or two pages, you would've known that RO private servers are free.

Anyway blah_girl, you don't really have to be very experienced to be a guild leader. You just need to be reasonably active. I'm sure you or gamer would be pretty good leaders. And I'm always ready to offer any amount of advice you need.

I haven't been here for a long time... o and I knew abt the question... haxed forgot to answer it... newayz... ya singles I like it... cuz faster and stronger... and groups... awwww... one person will just do all the thingies for u... but newayz... ro startin all over again... haxed... can't do dat I guess... well ya can make a new player in the cakero server but goin to another server... no thanks... but dunno... mite change my mind... and one more thing blah girl and licky... cakero server doesnt go dwn at all... the developer of the login or the patcher is just messed up... he doesn't kno how to code and stuff like dat... so I think he just like copied sumone else's work... but me and my friends found another way to get into the server... its like usin a old patch and redefinin the titles and subs so dat it can connect to cakero's server instead of TeaRO's server... if anyone havin problems with connectin to the server... please tell me and I will send u dat patch... it has sum malfunctions in it cuz its old but still it lets u connect to the server... well dats all for me...

While we wait for others to reply, I'd like to know more about CakeRO if we were to play in that server.

Like,
1. how many people are usually on,
2. is levelling and obtaining items difficult,
3. is a certain job significantly more advantageous than all others,
4. are there bots/corrupt GMs/large gangs who bully new players
5. are there players who possess "illegit" items (people who have items that normal players can't obtain)
6. does it lag much
7. the commands that players can use (@warp, @storage, etc)
8. any other special features or custom items
and all other relevant information.

And also what you would prefer in a server, if we were to look for a new one.

My preference would be a server which is fairly populated, not too hard to level, balanced where (almost) every job can be useful, with no custom items, and of course, no bots/corrupt GMs who kill normal players and say "Mwaha I'm a GM and you're not, so I can kill you as I wish!!"

okie, i will try to answer the best i know from cakeRo ^^;;

1. usually around 200+ or 150+, becuz of time zone different. im depending the amount of ppl from my time zone.

2. for this question and might be for the rest, here is the list.

3. well it depends on your build/equipment for the dis/advantanages of classes..

4. well....if you dont annoyed them, than you wont get ban or jailed...is all i can say...like for this certain GM..he isnt a GM and you will know this since the guild on him said "CakRo GMs [Im not a GM]". he is basically the profounder of cakeRo. if you come to him to ask questions, when he isnt recieving any questions. he will mute you for few mins or longer, depends on how much you annoyed him. ^^;;. however, you can chat to them like a normal player will do, is what they want anyways...

6. well it has been lagging, a bit tho..they been fixing and doing stuff to the server, so you might sometime wont be able to get on or you might get DC.

5./8. well yes, if you count the donation items. so there are "donaters" on the server that has those custom items. its actually depends on which items you want to get, to have a certain stats or skill in them.


to preference on other server. we have to go to their forums and read about them and such.

Yeap, helped tons. It resembles one of the high-rate servers I used to play in, DreamRO. CakeRO was made when I was still playing DreamRO, and if I'm not mistaken, these two servers are somehow connected. O.o

Well anyway, besides the custom headgears, donation items, and lag/dc, everything else seems okay to me. It would be better though, if we can find something better than this. But we'll still need gamer to decide on whether he's willing to leave if we ever find a better server.

I had the feeling too, that it's only the two of us discussing about it. Anyway, of course the guild will be useless if the members are only comprised of our clan members, I already had intentions to invite some outsiders as well. The main purpose about this guild thing is to give us more time to stick together and hang around. But since so few of us are showing interest, perhaps we should just put this on hold until the other shinigami ROers come back. Agree? We can always talk about some other stuff xD
