So how bout it. Which do you think is more effective? The Hyuuga clan Byakugan or the Uchida clan Sharingan?

Personally I think the Byakugan is more better.

I tend to think Byakugan is more for defense, and Sharingan is more for attack.

That sounds about right. Since you have that 360 direction with your vision with the Byakugan.

I'm sure there has already been a topic about this. Anyway... mine has to be sharingan cos it lets you do other moves like the mangekou, chidori etc. but Byakugan is mainly for insight and then you just use your chakra (molded in a specific way) to fight

To me, i think its sharingan because if you get caught in the mangekou technique, well, its over

Sharingan, you're as good as dead when Itachi or kakashi comes at you with it.

I think the sharigan is much better but the byakugan the way it is described is suppose to be more powerful. I wanna know how kakashi got the one eye, but that would be a spoiler

The Sharingan because it can copy the attacks of your opponets and if you reach its blood limit it can have a powerfull effect on your victims.

For me is Sharingan.....U can see that from Uchiha Itachi brother of Sasuke......his starring eye aledi can defeat kakashi....

I thinkthe Sharingan is by far superior than the Byakugan, because the Sharingan has more offensive. It can copy as well as do illusionary techniques.

Kakashi once said that the Byakugan is better than the Sharingan, but if you closely compare these two, you'll find that the sharingan is much better and useful. The Sharingan can understand how the opponent uses the technique and copy it. It can also cancel techniques like genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu.
That is the reason, why i choosed the sharingan.

Sharingan is only better than Byakugan at high levels.

in "NAruto world" is would still be awsome but could have a hard time againts sharingon

sharingan cuz of all it's advantages in battle.

Id like to have byakugan for its defensive methods and seeing the chakara holes.
Once you seal those, even Sharingan cant help.
