Bersek an anime set in medieval times where there are wars btween kingdoms and mercenarys for higher. The main of the anime is gatz who is a mercenary that wields an extremely large sword.


Even though my description sucked this is one of the greatest animes. It is one that i had to go out and buy i liked it so much. If you havent seen it yet then you suck so watch it.

you should try and read the manga it way better and the story is stil going

The manga moves on after the anime but they've included a retrospective from what has happened in the anime that last for at least 4 volumes, lucky the story differs somewhat from the anime otherwise it would be stupid.

yeah degree is pretty sweet... as for making an anime out of the remaining berserk mangas, according to the creator, it may be in the works, depending on if they sell well... so i hope a lot of people support it...but then again, primary support comes from the japanese... the anime itself was amazing, i thought it was really well done and the storyline lacks the childishness that cripples some of the cooler animes, which is nice. if you want to by the anime box set you can get it for liek $25 on amazon, which is nice considering it retails everywhere else from $80-110... also, anyone seen trinity blade? it hasnt made a US release yet, but from the few of seen it seems cool...

I really liked the anime, it's 25 episodes, but good. Of course, to get the whole story you have to read the manga, and Dark Horse charges 14$ for one volume. ;_;

I won't mind paying 14$ for one, as I like the anime, and won't to know how it ends, but there's the 11th volume coming out in like a month or two. Too much money for even 5 of 'em. >_<

This is the best anime ive ever seen thats for certain and ive seen alot
the music was just great the story is nothing like ive seen before cause it connects on
a strong emotional level
to truly enjoy this anime you have to open up to what is emotionaly going on within gattsu

I think Beserk is one of the better animes that out there. The animation is amazing, they never cut corners never repeat frames. The storyline, action and pacing is occuring at breakneck speed
The Manga is top notch as well

9/10 for the manga and anime

OOOoooh !!! Berserk = EPIC and I can't stress that enough by saying its the best
manga I have read since ... since.... well since ever, its probably the only Manga that keeps me reading the whole series over and over
again till the next new chapter appears !!
