What is Chakra?

Chakra is the power and energy needed to perform many jutsu's and techniques. They are two types of chakra, body and spiritual chakra.

Body Chakra

Body chakra is the energy that is in your body. It is stored in your cells and can be called up when needed.

Spiritual Chakra

Spiritual chakra is the energy that is located inside your own mind,it is usually obtained by hard work, experience etc, this is a very important aspect of any ninja, for example, if a ninja is loosing badly in a battle, he can calm himself down, call up some spiritual chakra by believing himself and he can get an extra boost of much needed power/energy. Naruto, the main character in this series tends to do this alot.

Charka and hand seals go together like butter on bread, they need each other to work. Whenever a ninja decides to use a ninja spell(justu) they need to release there chakra. Here are some pictures to show you some examples of these elements used together.

question: what happens when you lose all your chakra... the spiritual and body chakra.... will you die or something... or you just fall to sleep?

If you loose all your chakra and stamina, you'll just die.

what about the differnt colours of chakra like naruto red and green for lee and purple for oro etc why is that is it like evil ones or like different styles??

also, the chakra colours in the anime probably only differ so we can recognize what's going on.

blue = normal chakra
purple = Orochimaru
green = healing chakra
red = Kyubi chakra

i think the red chakara is the rare chakara because only naruto has it but other chakara maybe most of them have it .

I think we all have chakara....or kei....or whatever you want to call it. I think we feel it somtimes (like when we get vibes from someone) I think we could relise it and use it to an extent....but we are all so dumbed down and closed minded and stupid as people that we limit ourselves. I really think we could could even walk on water, but we tell ourselves that its impossible so many times, we cant even start to get into it....I think when a person meditates they tap in to that chakara a bit, but then we limit ourselves there......I think alot of that miricale stuff is true, like curing the sick and moving mountains and all that stuff you hear about but dont really belive. But alot of people just call me crazy lol

NO. what i'm saying is Chakra doesn't actually have VISIBLE COLOUR, unless you're using Chidori, when it's whiteish-blue. I'm SAYING that in the anime, they COLOUR the chakra so we can tell "Oh hey it's purple! It must be Orochimaru! Oh hey it's red! That means the Kyubi's active!"

well red colerd chakra is from kyuubi in side naruto...but i dont think that theres any other coler

haha chakra might exist in real life just that we don't realise it. well ppl who are able to do certain "impossible" stunts might have tapped into their chakra storage. who knows?

So tell me......... Naruto and Garaa's chakra change red when the kyubi activates inside of them but what is the real general explanation of how your chakra is whatever color it is. To end this;How can you determine what your chakra color is?

Yes, we do. But not like what you see on Naruto. It's not like we have energy that enables us to do ninjutsu or anything. o_o

There are different kinds of chakra which are focal points of energy that we use.

As for the colors of chakra (someone else asked about it in this thread).. Every chakra in the body has a different color-- i.e. root chakra is red, naval chakra is orange, solar plexus chakra is yellow, etc.

... I dunno what the different colors are supposed to mean in the anime, though. *shrug*

but wouldnt the body stop the use of our charaka
if u think about it like that then we have only a small amount that keeps us going so if we did anything real with it its possible we use it all up and damage our body
just like lee when he uses the lotus moves and opens the gates

yeah, Lee releases his gates, which causes a surge in power, but damages his muscles and causes them to break down quicker. Maybe if we had access to our charka like in Naruto and we could unlock the bodys "gates" we could possess ultimate power but at the cost of less life or even our whole lives. That could be the reason why we only use 20% of our overall brain power, to increase our lifespan.

if u think of it that way then once we find a way to activate our charka
and learn wat its made of then we could make an amplifiyer that would extend our life
or we could connect our charka with someone else and slowly drain it out of them

I really, really doubt that we have chakra. Maybe some kind of energy, but not chakra. What I don't understand is that in the Naruto World there are ninjas and normal people. Can the normal people use chakra, do something like lee did and master taijutsu, or just not have anything?

of course it real but it not called chakara in real life it called chi. chi is sperutal power chi is like chakara but it is not seen you can only get chi if you trian yourself everyday and meditate all the time so in that case ya chakara is real but only different does this answer your question

The Chakra guide was slightly off......Chakras are Body/physical and mental/spiritual and if you take both of those and mix it inside of your body you create the master chakra or chakra that is needed to create jutsu...
also Body/physical and mental/spiritual energy is also called stamina when unmixed and so in theory you convert stamina into chakra...hope this helps if it makes sense..

also,neji hyuga can release chakra through his chakra pores,also he spins around releasing chakra to deflect and defend physical attacks
