me, i choose anime cuz i prefer to watch badass fight scenes and such instead of read, i hate reading.

Hmm, I got up on my soap box with this thread last time, and it looks like I get to do it again. Hooray!

I prefer... manga! Why, you ask? Well, as an artist, I can appriciate the time, blood, sweat and tears put onto a single page of a manga; if you haven't noticed, they take a horrendously long time to do if you're going to do them with the best craftsmanship you can muster. A single page of an action manga like Naruto, in all of its artistic glory, beats the hell out of any crappy CG-fillers that we have become accustomed to in anime. Plus, I like to read, if that really counts for anything.

Bottom line? Manga rules.

Hehe, actually, I really do prefer manga for the most part, because the drawings are just amazing. I admire these artists who break their backs trying to make a good manga. And besides, manga are portable. ^-^
Though there are some animes I prefer to watch rather than read.

well i do prefer the anime because i can actualy see whats going on, but i like them both, like snyperkat said manga is portable which is good.

I prefer Anime, because I like hearing and seeing, instead of just reading. Also I don't really like non-moving fight scenes, there is only so much that you can put on paper for fighting.

i watch anime and i prefer that but i am a spoiler so thats where the manga comes in since it comes first before the anime ^^

id say anime coz it's fun and we can watch the actions clearly

Manga known as Comic in my place, not everyone have unlimited online Access like us, so my place's people ussually will buy comic which cost RM5 (US$1.30)

i like anime cause i can i see the actions and everything. But i do like the way drawings are done in manga...tough to pic just one...but anime...it is more colorful after all

I tried reading some manga, the only one I actually finished was Love Hina Manga...but I think my eyes will get tired while reading, I do enough reading at school and stuff lol, I think it's because I am lazy that I don't watch Manga '

i like both of them you know... but i usually watch anime because i can't buy manga all the time. just think about it... if i bought manga for all the anime that i watched, i could set up a store renting manga. cool huh?

Anime gives u details about fights.

i choose both.. it doesnt bother me whether i watch or read.. as long as the summary of the story in the manga is complete then theres is nothing to worry about.. i like also watchin but your TV nor PC cant ber carried arounnd unlike the manga w/c cna be printed and well read it anywhere you like.. but there also some time that i like to watch w/ my friends...

Manga, it's the original...nothing added, nothing taken away, it's plain, simple, black and white (most of the time)

Deffinetly Manga; easy to carry, cheaper, and no people trying to peek at your laptop to see what are you watching . Plus, I'm a readaholic, so manga's the stuff for me.

I would argee with chakrabat. I takes hard work to make manga, and I appreciate kishimoto for that. Plus I'm not that good at downloading anime. I takes too long. I need something to speed it up. Got any ideas. I have java installed but I dont know how to use it.

I like both evenly. In the anime, you get to watch the story play out, and with manga, you get the full heads up way before the anime.

I like both i read it than try to figure out the vioces than watch it it may seem weird but its fun to me

Manga is superior to anime. I personally like to fill in the voices and even the actions with my own imagination. Furthermore, you can experience so much more manga than you can anime in one half-hour sitting.

both are ok for me but manga shows more originality though its what you say,the root of the anime,because it all starts from the papers isnt it?though if i can only choose one,i would pick manga

Well I like them both, each for different reasons.

I like anime because like everyone else you can see what's going on. I like manga because there the original thing and most of the time the anime has to change or leave parts out, so in those cases I don't mind reading the mangas.

anime is where you get to see it all acted out and stuff, but manga is usaully out before the anime so you can find out the endings...i lurrves doing that i go insane if i don't know.

I choose anime. Manga has some images that can be just amazing and could never be captured in an anime. But anime has music and that can make all the difference. For instance I love the soundtrack of Samurai Champloo, it just makes the anime even better. It feels like the series doesn't have as much emotion when I'm reading the silent manga.

Well I like manga better because it has better story usually more detailed and also is less "censored" than the anime, But I must say being able to see the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight in the anime was just incredible ^^

i prefer manga because its just amazing how well drawn some pages are and its easy to stare at those pages in awe and say wow also its cheaper and usually the original story but i like to go back and see it animated as well to see what its like

Both...but I would choose manga because I find more blood is in the manga than anime...and more cursing...
