that be since i updated from panther to tiger^^

and my pc never stays on for more than 12 hours since it be a powerhog >.>, plus it dont like going into hibernation very often so yea.......

i havent shut down my PC for nearly a week,bcause of some *cough* program i have to on *coughRObotcough* XD

Me record for leaving my PC non stop is like for a week..that is when I have broadband connection....

oh man, my comp runs almost 24/7! We rotate and my folks try and get us to give it some downtime, but theres always someone wants to stay up all night on this thing >.> I think its because we just got this comp a little before the summer stared, we were practically begging for one for like four years , i guess we just are still so glad to have it right now, maybe it'll get 'kinda old' later and we won't wanna run it so much...

my computer shuts down mysteriously after a certain amount of time, like in a few hours, about 4 hours or something, and it then has something of a serious error.

I hate it when that happens.

lol, unlike my friend chakrabat, i turn mine off unless i am not doing anything with it or dl anything.

I don't remember te last time I shut down my laptop. I am constantly downloading things so I don't turn it off. Id say, about 2 weeks

Mines on 24/7 almost when i go study sleep i download or let the comp bot

lol, if my laptop was on for that long, it prob would have burned a hole through my table.

..........they really need to get laptops cooler, cause seriously, when ever i have my ibook on my lap for over a few hours, the heat starts to get unconfortable, and then i cant really type or anything and its like meh >.>

I don't really turn off my computer. When I'm done with it for the day, I just usually put it on StandBy.

if im downloadin something...then...i leave it on..7:00am-5:00pm..
really depends on what im downloadin and how many MB it is.

Damn you guys are weak, my computer has been on for 2 months which happens to be the last time I installed something But sadly the longest my internet has ever been connected for was 1 week

Hey my ibook usually stays on for months at a time before i atually restart so i aint weak, plus my internets been up for a while too, so yea!

my computer is always on when im at home.. wow that rhymes.. hehehe last time wen i was addicted to this online game my computer is on for 2 weeks, but wen sometimes during at night my dad goes to my room and turns my computer off and goes agro on me in the morning for leaving it on.. heeheh if im dl something off the net my computer is open for the whole day but since i have broadband i dnt have to do dat sumtimes so i just leave my computer on... eheeh

nope, and technically its better to leave your computer on since it causes less wear on the harddrive, but really, don't leave your puter on less your like doing something with it, since yea its a waste of energy.

It's usually on most of the day, I like my anime

i only shut down to install updates, and install hardware. so i think the longest it's been on is like 6 months. i have a couple of programs that require a 24/7 net connection. but right now i just got a DVD burner, so i installed it on fri so its been on since then.
