my guess is naruto wont kill itachi for sasukes case... naruto is more powerful, or should i say almost more powerful than sasuke.. remember the time when naruto was trying to fight itachi when sasuke was creamed??? well thats one of the reason, sasuke wont forgive naruto if he kills sasuke...

naruto will kill Itachi and sasuke will get mad kidnap sakura and in the process kill kakashi and naruto will go after sasuke to have one final confrontation with his eternal rival. Naruto will defeat sasuke and become Hokage.

and dont think that he doesnt yet.. well he hasnt showed up for a while so we cant judge how he grew up.. he still has that curse seal, and he's under the hands of orochimaru, so you cant say that he wont grow stronger than orochimaru... well orochimaru will be using sasuke as the container so i guess hell get much stronger than him.. and sasuke now has the sharingan on his eye(third one).. still think that he wont beat him..???

i never thought of that..but it does make sense all of suden lol
if oro takes over sasuke's body i don't know if oro will even give sasuke the chance to kill itachi since oro has "control" he will most likely use itachi as bait for sasuke to give him his body, but not actually give sasuke what he wants (repeat of the fuuma - was what they were called? - clan)
but then again oro might use his new found sasuke-body to kill itachi since i think most pages say that oro is scared of itachi and maybe he will get rid of itachi so he can be all-powerful
but if oro doesn't get the chance to take sasuke's body sasuke may kill itachi...bla bla, be good...etc...
but if he fails...and gets killed...naruto will go all crazy and kill itachi (repeat of the haku arch)

Orochimaru's never gonna get sasuke's body.
If Naruto killed Ita-sama, Sasuke would go nuts. It's his been his ambition, his "dream" if you will. So, if Naruto where to do it, Sasuke would flip and kill Naruto for stealing his goal.
Well, if I had my way, no one would kill Itachi. ^^ But regradless, I think it would probably be Sasuke. He's got the whole 'my only purpose for living is to kill my brother' thing going on, and I don't see him letting anyone besides himself kill Itachi.

Here's my opinion:
Sasuke will try to kill Itachi, but Sasuke will only be able to weaken Itachi. Then either Itachi kills Sasuke or Sasuke faints and then Naruto will get pissed. Then Naruto will ultimatley defeat Itachi.

I don't think naruto would kill itachi, neither sasuke. cause naruto know sasuke want to kill itachi, and sasuke will become a good guy, and usually good guys doesn't kill the bad guys. and usually bad guy who kill the other bad guys, except for the last boss usually defeated by the main character. and I personally doesn't think itachi would be the last boss (cause i like itachi too, and hoping that he would care about his brother).

i think Itachi isnt evil at all. i think he has been doing the thingies he has been doin to somehow get closer to a yet unknown evil person. I think that evil person has actually killed the tribe of sasuke (forgot the name) and Itachi survived coz hes friggin strong and "joined" the evil person to one day take his ultimate revenge on him, coz he wasnt strong enough by then. he let sasuke train as madness coz he know he cant take revenge alone.
so summary: keep your friends close but keep youre enemies closer, thats what itachi is thinking
it all becomes clear on a very dramatic way and itachi together with sasuke will defeat the evil person when still having tears in their eyes and they will live happily together after. coz they have eachother they dont want the deserved title of Hokage (tsunade died in the fight) so they give it to....naruto...FIN
