Haha, what a horible categorized poll, first off Slipknot isnt heavy metal (go to the Gaia Online Metal boards and say it there ) and second gothic is not a genre of music its a style of architecture

Umm what he said, Slipknot is at most just "metal", nothing harder, if you want heavy metal listen to Lamb of God.

I listen to a huge variety of music, but from the list above, I picked trance/hardcore cause me spins it, and I probably listen to it the most out of all the genres I listen to. As for Tiesto, he's okay, I like a few other DJs better like Max Graham, Oliver Lieb, Nostrum, Commander Tom, Hybrid (though they are kinda considered breaks), etc. I also have a place in my heart for dnb...among other stuff.

And by goth music do you mean industrial and darkwave? Like VNV Nation, Apoptyma Berzerk, Convenant, etc. Most of the goth people I know listen to industrial.

Mostly rock in my player.. Or my anime songs.. At home, it's usually quiet/jazz music..

Actually I think gothic is a type of music, although it's not called "Gothic", like SeventhFrequency said it'll probably be called "Industrial" and "Darkwave". Anywho I picked that even though I listen to different kinds of music.

I'll listen to any good stuff, really. But I'd very much so prefer british rock and techno. The only category of music you wouldn't catch me listening to is the rap playing now. I have to admit, the "old school" rap is more preferable.

I can appreciate almost every genre, I dont like most of the main stream rap, but the undergroud stuff that actually has content to it is good. I also dont realy like country, excpet for stuff like lynard skynard, and old school rock/country like that.
