In order for NC to become a more friendlier community why doesnt everyone say 3 things about themselves so that other ppl can get to know other members by. Plus it might be cool to find someone that might have the same intrests or ANYTHING in common. Please, stick to the forum rules and no spamming. Try not to include any of the same items that your profile interests or hobbies in this thread. Try not to include anything too obvious like "i like naruto". try and look at mine as an example.

For me:

1. Although some of my friends call me over an over-achiever, I push myself to get as many "A"s as possible. When i get to Purdue University this fall, i am going to major in Biology and then head on to medical school in hopes of becoming a Cardiologist.

2. I like to learn as much as i can about computers: how they work, learn how to opporate one well and to learn as much programming as possible before i die. I have always had a passion for anything dealing with computers.

3. I like to procratinate when it comes to getting things done. Homework is a big example. I like to put off my homework until the last second. Actually i work better under pressure. Same goes for manual labor. Haaha, esp cleaning something. If my parents ask me to do something like wash the dishes, i always tell them " ok, i will do it before i go to bed" then i end up doing that same job at 3 am.

1.i love to draw anything but sometimes i just dont have the passion to draw so i havent been drawing lately.

2.i just got my comp so im trying to learn how to do everything like making avis and sigs too moding and the worst part is I have to use dial up

Well done half back home and i'v been doing the rest since 7th grade in England alone passed all of my exams all 15 C and above, now i'm at college and just finished my first year.
I'm doing Multimedia design and i love it, i also like to draw but when ever i feel like it (once a year lol) as for further education do not like to make any plans but i have my mind set on something big.

1. I'm the laziest person alive, it's really a miracle I'm still alive since I'm sometimes too lazy to eat, or breath even... not so active in school... never did my homework after like the 2nd grade...
Din't do much at all after 7th grade but be annoying. Grew up somewhatnot after 9th grade, started taking interest in philosophy and all kinds of science n stuff, read a lot of books about stuff, learned more then ever in school, went to study graphic designing stuff to a school, and there I am.

2. I lose interest in things after a really short while... with a couple of exceptions... can't get anything done 'cause I get bored, but sometimes find some motivation and do everything (n i mean everything) with great speed and accuracy.

I am truly a strange person I must admit, while I mainly listen to Metal I often find myself listening to various other genres of music such as Persian wedding music and so on. At a very young age I began expanding my knowledge through reading my older brothers Honors English books. Despite my various different interests I am an anime fan and a hardcore gamer, been gaming since I was 5 and havent stoped since. I began doing gfx to express my emotions, most of the things I do are usually political based and I send them to friends however I do make sigs and such. As a person however I seem very quiet but truly I am an extremely hostile person who snaps quite alot. Despite my physical appearance, I find myself to be more intelligent than what people may think which is always a great thing, when people underestimate you, you'll always have the upper-hand in life.

1. I'm an artist of sorts. I see the beauty in things that are otherwise ignored, pushed aside or revolting. I draw on pretty much any blank surface I see, and I have taken a strange liking to batik and quilting.

2. Despite popular opinion, I'm very patient. I put up with a lot of ****, but I do have a short fuse when it comes to the stupidity I see festering here all too often.

3. I want to go to college, get my degree and return to my hometown and be an art teacher.

4. I love to fish. And I don't mean any wussy stream fishing, either. I like going out in the boat on a nice day with my dog, setting up the downriggers and trolling. Gillnetting and halibut fishing is also kind of cool, too.

5. I listen to almost any kind of music. Techno, hard rock, pop, whatever. I tend to stray away from country/western/bluegrass, though. Favorites? To start off, I'm an incredibly nice, caring, and helpful guy. If i see someone that really needs help, you can bet that imma help them, wether it be they need food, or someone to lean on. My friends think i'm both smart and slow at the same time, and i wholly agree, an example of this is my ability to learn complex stuff incredible quickly, and retain a whole lot of knowledge, but at the same time i can ask some of the dumbest questions and or do the dumbest things.

I am a computer guru, ive got over 4 years of expierence with windows based computers from windows 95, on upto windows server 2003, plus another 1 year of Mac OSX, and some linux knowledge. since i know all this crap, people always come to me for 'puter help, and like i said, i will help them when ever possible, and if they need to learn a certain concept, ill try my best to teach them it.

My passion right now is graphics, photography, and videography. I'm going to be going to a videography school starting in the fall and hopefully land a rather nice paying internship at a local tv station sometime next year, in addition to the freelance jobs that i get now.

School wise, i just became a junior at my high school. Like most other people that posted here, i too am a slacker, although when it comes down to crunch time, i will definitely get the task appointed to me finished. I do strongly believe that school is more than just a place to learn, it's somewhere where you develop your social skills, learn about the various emotions, happiness, pain, love, betrayal, etc. Its also a place where you can get to know your self. Like i mentioned i'm going to a film school, so basically my schedule is 3 classes at high school and then another 3 at the film school, and then i go home. Once i finish the film school i'm hoping to become Apple Pro Tools certified. I also will be taking free college classes during my senior yr to save money when i go to college. Once i graduate, i'm most likely going to take a yr off of school to save up money and then go part time to university of central florida. I most likely will major as a mechanical engineer with a minor in digital content creation. *hopes that wasnt too confusing*

As for my views on love and friendship, i do believe that everyone should have someone that they love spiritually and physically. One of the things that you will notice with me is i will never say i love another person, unless i do actually love them, so i don't think that the word love should be used lightly. I do believe that it is right to love the same sex, once both parties are mutually agreed that the love each other and fully understand what love is and any and all repercussions of the relationship. Plus im bi, so yea. love is an incredible powerful force, and makes people act completely different. For me to "love" someone, the must be nice, caring, and loyal, the must also have something in common with me, ie anime, gaming, etc. I also have to feel a deep connection with the person. I have to know that i can trust this person to be there for me when im in my darkest hour, and that i can openly communicate how i feel aswell as my darkest demons to them.
Friends, they are the ones that have shaped the person that ive become, and to them i am thankful. They have been there in my darkest hours, helping me cope from being severely depressed and without them i wouldnt be here. So as you can see, i truly believe everyone should have someone that they can turn to for help, comfort, guidance, and just to talk to.

SAN:Im a total sap for anime romances, i sometimes get fustrated with anime as they can be so freakin despressing and sad, but that makes them cooler.
SHI: at the moment i have a bf and he is super smart -he just made this 'virtual btterfly' center for a museum (like kids can make their own butterflies and watch them fly around and develop) he programmed the whole thing by himself!!! it was a huge task, hes super cool but he's moving to anothher part of the country so in 2 weeks im going to need as much JPOP as i can possible find and listen to it nonstop.
GO: JPOP makes me happy, if im in a sh*tty mood it instantly makes me happy and if im thinking itrrational it will make me think sense
ROKU: i like reading classical literature, like all those plays by euripidies and socrates, oscar wilde ect (and i don't do it to look 'smart' i do it cos the plays are actually quite cool and exciting to read).

Alrighty, guess I'll post about me...I dunno what to say exactely but here goes:
1. I am really shy in real life, don't say much (exact opposite of my appearence on the forum huh ), and can take a while to open up to people.
2. I am very sarcastic, and I will tease people a lot, but I try not to especially to people I don't know well, or to people who might be offended by it. The teasing thing comes from the culture I was raised in, so just in case I tease someone here, it is really a good thing coming from me. It means I like/respect you...it's kinda hard to explain, just don't take teasing from me personally.
3. It is pretty much impossible to offend me, I don't take anything personally.
4. I was in scouting for 15+ years, so I am a bit of nature guy (you can throw me in the woods and I'll survive indefinately), love animal and all that outdoorsy stuff, but I don't do too much of that anymore.
5. Big into martial arts. Learning on and off since I was 8, but more intensively training for the last 6 years or so. Mostly TKD and hapkido, but other stuff as well.
6. Big into music. Mostly techno (trance & dnb), and rock, but will listen to anything. I am a vinyl junkie and DJ (closet DJ-basically I spin at home only). I want to professionally do post recording music mixing and mastering.
7. I work in a bookstore fulltime to pay for my school, and I go to a college or two full time, so I don't have much free time.
8. I am a very strong friend, I sacrifice quite a bit (finacially, emotionally, temporally, etc.) for those friends I care about. My closest friends I have known since Kindergarten (so basically clost to 20 years).

Schoolwise, I am almost done with college, getting a degree in a self designed major, a minor in American Indian Studies, a certification in Music Recording Industry, and certification in Protools. My last semester is coming up and I will hopefully intern for either Fantasy Studios (www.fantasystudios.com) as an assistant mixing engineer or at Digidesign (www.digidesign.com) in their engineering department.

I dunno what else you wanna know, just ask. I have no secrets...well except that one week in march this year..(that reminds me I have to get a new shovel)...

Hmmm about me...

I live on the computer, and I'm always on MSN, forums or reading Fanfiction.

I love forums, I practically live off of them. I am currently a member of 4 so if I don't post much it's cause I'm posting somewhere else.

Fanfiction is my life blood. I read it, I write it. Weither it be normal cute fluffy stories, to parodies of other animes, to the hardcore smut, it's usually have a fanfic window up whenever I'm on the computer.

I love Sunflower Seeds, Anime, Soda pop and the Rain. I'm normally easy going, but I also have a horrible temper. I like riding my bike, and listening to music. I'm always listening music.

I love music. I'm one of those people who would die if music was taken out of our lives.
I follow those pop songs a bit, but not that much.

I like art. I've won the Art Award last year in school, but I still don't know how.

about me... im cool person to hang out with.... i like to play a lot of sports... hang with friends, although i joke a lot i can be a real serious person..... i love to put things off to the last moment..... im acutally pretty smart... i juss graduated from the 9th grade with a 3.75 gp... and my guy friends call me bond cause i love talkin to ladies

1. I don't like talking about myself. I'm really quite a shy person, so I'm not sure why I'm doing this.

2. I am a vocalist at a school for the arts. In other words, I sing very well. I am not sure whether or not I will pursue a career in music. I kind of want to be a writer, but I could do that along with singing.

3. I seem to come off as snobby to people who don't know me very well. However, people who do know me say that I am a great person and (most say) a great friend. It's not my fault I'm insanely talented at just about everything. >>

4. I love anything artistic, whether it be visual art, music, or writing. I am very openminded, and I wish more people were the same way.

5. I like Harry Potter. That seems rare anymore, though now that the 6th book is coming out, people are all: OMG! NEW BOOK!

-I love to draw (most people say I draw super good I hate it when people say that because It's really not that good I am just ok for my age.)

-I am 14 andI am super patiencent which is why I love detention that and the fact that I am really lazy so it's what I do at home any way.

I am not a girle girl but I hang out some though.. I hang out with a lot off people a lot of my friends really don't like each other.
