Hi guys (or gals )
this is not really a showoff thread but rather a question towards GFX makers
the past few weeks ive been working hard to get some cash together so time to mess around on photoshop is not really somthing i do anymore
while im on work (i will not go into that part of the story any deeper) sometimes a certain feeling drills his way into my head
sometimes its a beasty kinda explosive RGHAA kinda thing with very agresive colors and sometimes its a cool and cold thing with calm colors and beautiful kinda environment
and something inside me wants to re-create that feeling into a picture and i get all sorts of idea how i can maybe make a signature with this kinda render and this and that....
but after a while i get carried away with my work...come home listen to some music and TOTALY lose my ideas and that certain special feeling i wanted to "re-create"
or i just dont give a sh*t bout it as i did when i had the feeling for the first time :/
my question to you people is this:
how can I retain that feeling and keep my enthusiasm up until im home ?
i tried writing bout it... i tried to make memos i tried to kinda draw it roughly so i could remember it but nothing works
and this is not just somthing that happens when im at work... happens when im on vacation when im in school when im at friends ...
tell me yer thoughts on this

Practicing meditation helps out with this. I started meditating since the age of 16. Ever since then it helped me with self control and retaining certain feelings until I saw it was time to release them. The best thing to do without meditation is just to think of something continuously that keeps that feeling within you. Analyze what caused or initiated those feelings and hold on to it by thinking of something that you can see relating to it. Be careful though don't allow for those feelings to overtake you.

hmm im not that type of person im afraid :/
im very active and think always of diffrent things at the same time so meditation could help me alot if it wasnt for my personality not allowing sutch things
is there no other way ?

I would say just practice self control. I mean really focus on what you want to withhold and keep it in stotage in your head until you want to use it. Or you could try writing something, or drawing something quickly or even remember a picture that is easy to remind you of that feeling.

I mean will power is probably one of the biggest assests the brain has!...
so try to focus in your objective continously, and don't give up..
you can acomplish "almost anything"...even retaining a thought or feeling.
Also, I read some time ago that you could associate things,sounds, smells ..etc (anything related to your senses) with things in order to remember them...as a trigger for your brain.
