He was a pervert, so in almost any story that's interesting and funny. Besides he was who treat Naruto as a paternal figure.

I loved the J-man. He was always true to himself, even if that doesn't win him any points with others. Other than yondaime, shodaime and Kakashi, I would most like to see some back-story on Jiraiya (how he met up with the toads for training).
