Dude, there's no competition. The Transformers legacy is huge! 25 or 26 years HUGE! Twilight is pathetic compared to Transformers. And I like to see Twilight fangirls attack me on this. I can actually list some pretty good reasons why Transformers is far more superior than vampires and werewolves.

Transformers Fans are all types of ppl. Kids, teenagers, young adults, middle aged, and even Old age. I once met a a man who was 86 years old and he had a Optimus Prime wallet. Anyhow, the majority of Twilight fans are Teenage to young adult girls. I'm not bashing the story or anything, my wife is in love with it and I actually have read the books and seen the movie. But to be honest, the type of story that it is, can be found in a whole mess of books and movies. Some are actually better portrayed than Twilight. So in all reality, the majority of these Twilight fans are really fans of the actors. Because if they were fat twinkie eating chubbs, trust me their wont be a hysteria like their is now.

OH man this sucks, putting Twilight against Transformers...Twilight is my choice.

It's so hard I love them both. If there was a choice I would choose both of them.

Okay, that's it. Enough with the one answer posts. From now on, you should give at least ONE reason why you think the other one is better than the other. Get it? Got it? Good.

I've already stated one reason. 25 years of pure awesomeness! Twilight just doesn't stand a chance! At least Transformers has decent storylines, unlike Twilight with it's......"interesting" storyline. (Seriously? Vampires that SPARKLE!? Really!? Seriously!? That's the best you can do?! Disgrace the name of vampires why don't you. >_>)

Blade<<<<<<< The best vampire movie ever made. And the story wasn't cheesy as well.


Back on topic:

1984, the year Transformers first appeared. Plus the first transformers movie sold over 140,000 blu-ray/DVD discs in the first week alone. That is on record till this day, the highest and quickest sale for a film ever. Who knows what the second film will do. Plus, between figurines, lunchboxes, VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray, wall scrolls, etc....the sales figures go over $125billion dollars. Their is no comparison between the two. Also, the transformers storyline is unique. The twilight storyline can be found in many different books and movies with the difference of having vampires.

Okay Transformers is on the range of freakin' awesome but, Twilight do have it's awesome moments. A vampire who sparkles that was kinda lame. Don't talk about Twilight like that Nonye GOSH. You make the movie sound horrible!!

I watched the movie. The only part I liked was the baseball scene. Altogether the movie sucked. Compare it to the book, the movie SUCKED! Yeah, it had it's moments, but not NEARLY enough to square off against Transformers.

Oh I kinda thought this was a debate against the book to. The movie Twilight sucked it could have been better. I was disappointed . But, the books of course top it off the movie. Stephine Meyer wrote IT.

All the books aren't that hot. Yeah, they're great to a young adult or teen. (In my opinion at least) But as Akechi pointed out what's in the Twilight Saga can be found in other books and sources.

I'm not saying Transformers is all original (you know with the idea of talking robots), but you can barely compare a robot-based book, cartoon, anime whatever to Transformers, because it'll be fairly different.

Not to mention the transformers idea/story/concept was created almost 30 years ago. Back when their was nothing alike. And I agree compared to the first book, the movie twilight was just pale. Even my wife(huge twilight fan) says so. She loves the movie but she enjoys the books even more. But it is just a basic love story with vampires in the mix....Wait that's been done before as well. Nvm.

Totally agree. Comparing 2 diffrent subjects. Maybe 2 vamp movies compared and 2 robot movies compared. Then choose between the two.

Maybe your right, Cutie. Comparing two different subjects never turn out good. Though, you cam say the same thing for comparing a PS3 with a Xbox. Different systems, differents games, but their both gaming systems. Transformers and Twilight are both movies, so we can view it like that.

Transformers beat twilight in action-and twilight beat transformers in romance, so i should say there kind of different.

Yeah, I did read the books. Although half way through Eclipse. (It was just too much crap for me. XD) I know what happened in each book though, so *shrug*
