The role play section should be like the forum game section, the post count should be disabled. I know it will kill the fun, but I believe RP's are like games where you relate to the post before you and try to create a story. Those kinds of posts should not at all be counted. Just a suggestion to put out there.

Mmm I kind of agree with you. A lot of what is said in the RP section is off topic, that should really be cracked down upon (though Nonye is probably the only one who can do it). But removing the post count might kill it (though anyone who is a loyal RP'er should still do it). Problem with the way we have it now is in primetime like 5 people post 3 times a minute so when someone new comes on and see's like 10 pages worth of posts they have to ask what's going on which is a pretty serious problem.


With only a very small number of people actual RP'ing the number of posts you guys do is pretty ridiculous though and kind of unfair =/ It sucks seeing people who have posted regularly and legitimately for 3 years get out posted in 2 months by a new RP person that posts absolutely nowhere else. This is predominately a Naruto site, that the most popular section (by probably 50 fold) is the RP section is pretty wrong too. Something needs to be done about it to be sure, if it's just about "telling stories" and having "fun" there should be no reason why you can't still do that without getting post counts in my opinion...People shouldn't come here just to RP (which is what is happening right now with some of our most high posters), they should be coming here to discuss a whole range of topics >.< If some of you guys could just weigh in your opinions and thoughts on other parts of the site like you do in the RP section it wouldn't be such a problem in my mind. But the RP section takes away the desire to post regularly elsewhere for a lot of you which is kind of a problem. This might happen if their post count only rises in the other sections.

Bah, I'll try my best to delete the post, but you can't blame people for liking the RP section, better than the topics about Naruto. In fact, most members are just moochers and don't even look at the topics. lol

Honestly, I guess the RP Section doesn't have to count for point, but why bother now? If people want to gain their posts the old fashion way, let them. I don't see them complaining.

I had fun RP'ing but it overwhelmed me when every day there was like 10+ pages of stuff to read through, plus when I get on most people aren't online =/

I dunno I mean I thought like 5 of you guys (who have the highest post counts) had completely quit the site but it turns out you were just posting in the RP section. Of course the blame can't be laid at the foot of that section, it's the lack of activity, and interesting topics in the other sections that was probably what drove you guys away. It's just that you guys are the most creative and active people on the site and having some of you just ditch the other sections took a huge tole on the overall activity of the site. And yes I think that one possible solution to give a bit of a seed of life into the community would be if you could only get post counts up in the other sections. Imagine how good the site would be if you posted as much in the other sections and you did in the RP one; every manga chapter having a 10 page discussion? Yes please!

Posting about chapters isn't as exciting. Sorry, that's just my opinion, dude. lol I can try doing that again. Probably have to force myself, but hey why not?
