Many thanks to sleepy fans and onemanga for the new chapter.

It was fun. The story seems to be moving in a nice direction. I'm loving the cloud ninjas. I wonder what Naruto's reaction will be to these new revelations about Sasuke. Will he still be willing to consider him a friend now that he knows that he is a member of Akatsuki?
It was fun to see that there isn't much that Danzo can do against Naruto. Still, I'm sure that he thinks that he'll get his way no matter what. Dream on toad killer. When you try working against Naruto, no plan works. Gotta say, I'm beginning to like Danzo, even though I really don't think he'll be staying in his post for long.

Yea,the story moved forward quite a bit in this chapter,
Danzo might not be a very likeable character,but he seems to be very sincere to Konoha...
On the other hand,he is not officialy a HOkage because Kakashi n Danzo,both of them said,there will be a voting soon...
Hope, the old lady will wake up by then...

Its good to know there are a lot of hotheaded ninja akin to Naruto whom will do anything to protect those whom they love, respect, or admire. And the Kumo nin seem to carry such feelings. Well Danzou watch out. Nice Chapter truly a shift from what we are used to.

I dont really like the kumo nin, considering how they profess to kill sasuke when their master got totally "owned" by him. its more of whether they are going to lose by chidori nagashi or a sharingan genjustsu. -.-

i hope kisame vs 8 tails come really soon, i think it will be a cool fight as they both have an enormous amount of chakra and kisame has many jutsus to use.

Good chapter, some of the background revealed and some action so soon is great!

Can't wait to see Naruto's reaction and how he decides to act.

he was the first to react and was the only one that did anything useful while we are used to him getting throw or ****

How in any shape of the word did Bee get "owned" by Sasuke. That is simply not true, he was throwing Sasuke around all over the place. He would have killed him if not for Karen. He let himself be caught so Akatsuki would leave him alone...

He was easily handling all four of Sasuke's group and would have won for sure if he was being serious. Right now Bee is the second strongest person alive (after Madara) and you can be sure he will become a prominent character in the series.

Yeah well, the kumo nin thought so since he was thought to be captured by sasuke. Thats why i put the apostrophe. Haha was just lazy to explain.

Of course i know he is strong. I cant wait to see him fight kisame!

danzo and the 1sts wife and the other old fart gave the order on uchia i bet
danzo cares about his konoha and only that. he disobeys the leaders thats why secrecy to not be hung fort reason.the uchia story is treason too for all concerned both sides it brings the ? whose next narutos clan.special troups need to be in the open otherwise they get you into this problem
who can unseal the seal besides danzo?

I loved the chapter, again its nice to see the contrast between Naruto and Kakashi! LOL How they reacted to the news... and does Danzou plan on putting that seal on all jonins if he wins?? I hope they show that voting in depth since it'll be interesting to see all the jonins deciding on a leader...so ultimately the Feudal Lord can only "nominate" someone if the Jonin in the village unite against that person then they won't keep the title it really makes sense I also want to see what Naruto and Sakura will do now that they know Sasuke is an Akatsuki?? They'll probably overlook that since they can't believe anything bad about him!!. The Cloud Nin were great in the fight at least they kicked Sai and Sakura's butts LOL Naruto reacted really well in that fight it goes to show that whole Pain experience helped him. Can't wait to see the color art next week and the meeting between the 5 kages!!

after reading the comments,yea i agree Naruto seems to be different when the 8tails students attack them,he is using his kage bunshin much faster n his timing looks damm good.On the other when Naruto n kakashi heard the news about Danzo ordering the jounins to kill Sasuke at sight,their respective reactions does show tat y Kakashi is regarded very highly by the other ninjas.His calmness during situation are admirable.Tats a very gut hallmark of a leader,the ability to be calm and make the right decisions...
like i said before,a nice chapter which moved forward timewise n story wise effectively...

I was gonna say the same thing. Bee was kicking the whole groups a$$. Sasuke almost died. Im not sure if he"s the second strongest in the series right now. Also how does Zetsu fight? I always wanted to know.

Yea I know! When I saw Naruto's reaction time and quick thinking to that sword coming I was like Woah! did anyone notice tho that Naruto took Sai's Sword? Sai was like wtf?! Naruto's experience is on a whole new level now. I love this chapter

i didnt realize tat Naruto took Sai's sword. Then Naruto does prove a thing or two about his fighting experience/knowledge...

I gotta say Naruto's reaction really did surprise me I mean he reacted the way a Jonin was supposed to (Albeit a rookie Jonin) seem his battle with Nagato really did pay off Han Way to go Naruto! we hope you continue such spark of brilliance. Yep.

I know i'm late in this topic but after reading this chapter again, i just HAD to post this. Just to show how incredible Naruto was in that short fight, check this play-by-play: Omoi and Karui

1) Karui points her katana at Sakura on the RIGHT of her
2) On Sakura's LEFT side is Naruto who (while keeping an eye on Karui) immediately begins to advance towards Sai who is in FRONT of Sakura...........(both Sakura and Sai were still processing what was going on)
3) Naruto grabs Sai's sword from off his back and steps in between Sai and Sakura to knock Karui's katana up in the air.......(Sakura and Sai are still just beginning to react)
4) Naruto then goes to elbow a surprised Karui while Omoi (who is on Karui's RIGHT) reads Naruto's movements and rushes forward (leaning over) to block his attack by using the hilt of his sword against Naruto's elbow
5) During Omoi's block, Naruto begins his hand seals and starts his Kage Bunshin jutsu
6) Karui then rolls over the back of a leaned over Omoi while switching her blade to the blunt side
7) By the time Karui reaches the RIGHT side of Omoi and swings her Katana in a roundhouse swing towards Naruto, his shadow clone appears and stops the attack by catching the sword in his hand
8) Finally, Sakura and Sai try to get involved by changing positions and attacking from the sides...Sakura runs to attack Karui while Sai runs to attack Omoi while they are distracted by Naruto and his Shadow Clone
9) Omoi reads both Sai's and Sakura's movements and jumps over the back Karui in order to avoid Sai's kick and deliver one of his own to Sakura who he sends flying
10) BUT Naruto ALSO reads Omoi's movements and runs around his shadow clone (who is still holding off Karui) in order to catch Sakura and protect her from smashing into the rocks from Omoi's powerkick


Poor Sai is still standing there in awe as Karui disposes of the Shadow Clone and jumps backwards to regroup with Omoi.

The way Omoi reads movements might be reflective of how he worries about all types of situations and plays them out in his head.....no matter how crazy the options he comes up with. He seems to "over"-analyze alot

But the main point is............Naurto is basically a step ahead of Omoi and Karui and TWO STEPS AHEAD OF SAKURA AND SAI the entire time!!!! Naruto is on a whole different level! I wanna see him spar with Neji sometime soon!!

Neji is no competition for Naruto. Naruto beat Neji when he was just a fresh gennin and Neji had an extra year of experience. With the training that Naruto has had since then and the experience he has gained from his latest battle, no doubt he will once again wipe the floor wiht Neji.

LOL...i just KNEW someone was gonna bring that up. I agree that Naruto would win, but don't forget that Naruto is not the only person that has improved over these years. I mainly wanna see a fight between them now because Naruto would win by using his mind and skills MORE this time than just using brute force. Naruto used his brains a bit back then but also was lucky that Neji underestimated him. I just think it would be a greater sparring match between them now

If it were before naruto learnt sage jutsu, neji would win. naruto's rasenshuriken wouldn't get close with byakugan's 359degree sight.

However,with sage jutsu and stuff, lets face it, naruto would win hands down. His controllable chakra is now humongous and he can summon many frogs + i bet sealing chakra points is useless because he can absorb natural energy from the outside.

I mean Naruto would win against Neji of course, i am guessing powerwise Naruto is considered now to be the most powerful ninja in Konoha.
how bout his speed now?from that small detailed fight by jamrock it seems to me he is fast as well(his father was known as Yellow Flash,so i guess its in his blood as well). But,me personally dunt think his speed is up to tat level yet...
how will you people classify his speed now compared to those who are considered fast in Naruto world,i.e. kakashi,Itachi,Sasuke

Meh he still has the Kyuubi remember. With just one tail I am fairly certain he could have beaten Neji (in fact I am positive, the fox's chakra can break through any of the plugs Neji puts on the chakra points), he would just bully Neji around with far superior strength and speed (he would be able to reverse his rotation...). Though a normal, non powered up Naruto would loose, since the Byakugan and gentle fist style is the ultimate melee counter (and Naruto is a melee type).

You're right. Naruto did after all beat Neji during the finals with the help of the fox and what's even better is that he didn't even need to go into tailed mode.
