What The Hell!!! Danzo as Hokage!!! Ok it wasn't as much of a surprise since I'd seen the spoilers but still, the way the lord just accepts him like that, ugh, it wasn't put to vote or anything. And what was up with blaming Tsunade for the attack or the 3rd for Sasuke's betrayal. Ok. I somewhat get the Sasuke bit. I bet Danzo wanted Sasuke dead as well coz he hated the fact that Itachi had threatened him and that he was more powerful than him. With Itachi dead -and Tsunade out of the way- he's free to manipulate all he wants. But why blame Tsunade for the attack. I can't wait for Sasuke's arrival now. And, I'm curious to see what Naruto's -and the other's- reaction will be to this new development.

Agreed the Kisame VS 8 Tails fight should be interesting. But it's still startles me how Danzou (With just saying some crappy a** words) was nominated for Hokage without even a second thought. THINK PEOPLE! Danzou already went against Konohagakure when he founded the secret Anbu thing. Why would they even trust him for a split second? Why are the Konoha elders all so stupid? Besides I would have liked Kakashi to be Hokage much better. But on the other hand Danzou being Hokage really gives the current story arc quite the twist. I just hope Konoha isn't gone for good. Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha, and Danzou's plans are unclear. Since Sasuke wants Konoha rid of if Danzou wants the same it'll be hell. On the other hand if Danzou wanted to be Hokage because he has hopes of over-throwing all of the Shinobi country's that will bring out another Shinobi World War; and the very end of Konoha. Let's just hope it doesn't go this way.

What the ****?!! I loved the first part of the chapter, specially seeing Kakashi carrying Naruto but come on whats up with Danzou being Hokage?!!! I really thought he was going to try and kill Tsunade!! And at the council meeting I was sooo happy thinking they were gonna choose Kakashi!! Darn it! How did the Feudal Lord even get there that fast? On the other hand I'm glad Naruto got that welcoming from Konoha and that Sakura thanked him.

What I don't understand is are they taking the title of hokage from Tsunade? I mean when she wakes up is she still going to have the authority of the hokage or it'll all go to Danzou?

Danzou's argument wasn't logical or sound at all, what Kishi is doing here is making the fire lord out to be a manipulated fool dancing like a marionette. I don't know, this is both good and bad. Good thing is Kishi looks to be taking the political thing seriously, I doubt this is the be all and end all of who will become the Hokage. Bad thing is I don't think politics has much of a place in a manga like Naruto...

I think it's just about time, we see some changes in Konoha. I'm not siding with Danzou, but i think we should give it a chance.

I agree that Konoha has become soft. They had too much heart in them that they forget that they are a military organization of some sort. You don't fight enemies with Teddy bears do yah?

I mean come on, how often have they been duped by their enemies because they are oh so naive.

On another note, I love how Naruto has finally gained more respect from the villagers. This time on his own efforts, not just because he's a student of Jiraiya.

For me 450 was great,for the first time in a long time i got angry at something hehe,Danzo what a sleazeball you have to hand it to him you really do,though i suspect it does kinda set up Sasuke's return not as a villian but a bit of a hero when they finally see through the old slimeball,it'll be interesting how Naruto reacts to this news and maybe,just maybe Sai's inclusion in the story will become a little clearer (i mean he's a bit of an odd character after all).

Of course he would have sasuke return now to possibly kill Danzou and make him a hero or maybe say everything that he has done and then kill him. Maybe Naruto when we see his reaction will say also that the attack from Pein was really Danzous fault. How manipulative he really is. Either way i don't expect danzou being Hokage very long either he'll be killed or will cast or run away for his actions. But remember sasuke is Kishimotos golden chalice so he'll probably make him look all heroic when really, hes been an emotional douchebag.

As soon as the meeting was called for the nomination of the 6th hokage. Tobi seemed like he knew as well hence the panel with the dots right after he said they'll need another pawn to sync with Gedo Mazo. Then right after he tells Kisame to find the 8 tailed beast because he needed to attend to something else....Tobi does know space/time jutsu so he can appear in Konoha in no time. My point is, maybe Tobi really is danzou. I was one of the ones that was against the idea and thought it couldn't be. But after seeing this, I'm just not sure anymore.

He could very well be Danzou but if so how did he obtain the sharingan??? Unless Zetsu claimed the body of Obito because he could have since Obito died in grass village close to where Zetsu is from. And then somehow Danzou and Zetsu make a deal because we know Danzou will make a deal with anyone to achieve his goals. But also, now that i think about it, claiming all the bijuus will make a super-powerful weapon of destruction which could guarantee a win in any war, total domination over all the other countries. Danzou's ideology is war practiced.

But again I don't know anymore...Maybe Danzou is just working with the Akatsuki and Madara and maybe Tobi/Madara just wanted to maybe see how the decision for the 6th hokage turns out. Anyhow, I'll stop pondering on this now. Can't wait for the next chapter maybe it'll explain more where Tobi had to attend to and maybe hopefully, naruto tells kakashi about the meeting with his father.

Actually to tell you the truth in the real world, Danzou philosphy is sound and I don't blame the fire lord for picking Danzou. Sarutobi showed mercy to Orichimaru when he had the chance to kill him, thus leading up to Sand teaming up with Sound and the destruction of the village the first time (Also Oro wouldn't have taken Sasuke who would have been a major asset to the village). Then if Jiraiya hadn't taken pity on outside/foreign children and teaching the leaf style shinobi skills, then it wouldn't have lead up to the destruction of the village a second time...

I don't know why you guys are saying its gay when it's a perfectly logical choice. Either pick someone who will have much mercy (In which we saw had both negative results) Or a person who will keep things in order with a strong hand and annihilate the enemy before it can attack again *shrugs*

Also nobody tried to argue with Danzou when he was talking which to me showed two things:

1) He was right and (even though they didn't like it) couldn't come up with something to challenge his views.

2) He obviously had a lot of power to shut people up and knew how to use politics or situations in his favor (which is a skill for any leader to have)

I would have picked the man =/ And of course I would pick him because I didn't truly know who he was. It also had to be hasty because they need to have a strong leader fast before neighboring countries could attack in their weaken state *shrugs*

I definitely 100% love where Kishi is going with the manga.

Yup i think Kishi is pulling out the stops now after a for me at least bit of a dull story with Naruto and Pain (dont hate me i just thought it was a bit dull ) but the first half of this chapter was nicely done then second half supurbly done.

This move surely can only lead to division among the Konoha elite and its boiling along nicely now.

That part is a sound argument. But the next part of his argument was not. That the 4th was the student of Jiraiya so he was terrible (even though he was the most noble and strongest Hokage in history just because of what Jiraiya did) and Kakashi was the student of the 4th and therefore he would be a weak Hokage because of what his teacher's teacher's teacher's did is straight up retarded. We know that Kakashi does not show mercy unless it's warranted. You know damn well he would be a perfect Hokage and would sit in the perfectly in the middle between over merciful and power hungry dictator.

I know you would not pick Danzou, you know he is a selfish power hungry dictator who is very likely at the very least working with Akatsuki so yeah...Kakashi would not be over merciful he has killed hundreds if not thousands, he is not what you think he is. I would pick Danzou because I wouldn't know those things. Also you couldn't bring the 4th into the matter cause how could he have been the greatest Hokage if he was hokage for like what... 2 maybe 3 years? He was young. Sure he was an amazing fighter but the only reason anybody in the village would consider him the greatest is because he sealed away the Kyuubi. Also Jiraiya was the pupil of Sarutobi and they both made horrible mistakes... maybe the 4th didn't last long enough to do that. Also Kakashi has already made a mistake his masters have already done. Lets take Sasuke for example and now that too is about to bite the village in the ass.

But enough of that. Yes I know that Kakashi would be a good hokage but what your doing is using your opinion to justify the situation instead of thinking about why the Firelord is doing what he is doing. Also I never said Firelord was an intelligent person. Maybe the outcome would have been different if someone challenged Danzou's views but nobody did. Also nobody knows how much time passes between panels. Maybe their was a minute pause cause I do believe it shows the advisors thinking about it. So maybe their was a moment of silence of thinking.

But even if their wasn't, their still a moment to where anybody could have brought back up the topic of Kakashi to create an argument thus to force the Firelord to have a vote. But like you said, they were fools and stayed silent.

Yea Mafia, I was one of the ones that was against the idea. But after re-reading the chapter and noticing what I did which is in the link I provided I just thought "hmmm..seems a little suspicious". Why in that moment at time the same moment that the meeting was called did Tobi have to suddenly attend to something else? Since he does know space/time justu he can appear in konoha in a split second.

So yea after noticing that I was just baffled and my jaw literally dropped. Maybe I am pondering on this too much. But, I can now say that their is a possibility that Danzou is really indeed Tobi. Maybe when the fire lord and the others decide to put a vote on the decision of 6th hokage and we know that Kakashi might have the majority of votes, it will stir something up with danzou. Or maybe when sasuke arrives and tries to kill him he does his space/time justsu or takes off his bandage to reveal a Sharingan.

Theirs your proof that Tobi knows space/time jutsu. Trust me I know what you mean it has given me a headache as well but I can take it. I don't stop figuring something out until I do. I have pondered on this since 450 was released. That moment just puzzles me. Right now its either one of two things.

1) Tobi is indeed Danzou.

or

2)Tobi is really Madara, and Danzou is working with him.


Until we find a clear answer no one will know for sure but I can definitely believe that it might be possible that it really is danzou when before I didn't believe it and didn't think it was possible.

I agree I hate that titi;e as Genin that Naruto has. make him a kage or elite jounin or sumthin. But I think Kishi is trying to make t so that in the end nARUTO DOES EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO IN THE CHUNIN EXAMS. "Im becoming Hokage! i dont care if I stay a Genin forever, Im still gonna be Hokage." I hink he's trying to make that true. It would be cool to hve another chunin exams though.

Oh wow!! That's definetly an interesting possibility but still it would make sense if Danzou's eye patch covered his right side of the face and not the left since Madara has his sharingan on the right... if he did take Obito's body and his brother's eye can he shut off the sharingan whenever he wants to?? And also if Madara was Danzou then why would he have given Sasuke the information that the village's elders and Danzou are the only ones that know what happened to the Uchiha Clan?

Yeah I also think he wants to make that come true, its annoying but cool at the same time if it did happen.

I'm at a loss at what to say, what has Danzou to gain that the whole of Konoha (besides NE obviously)hates him and he wants to rule them. Among the list of his infamies is the wiping out of the Uchiha (for 'good reasons'?) siding with any person that will help him in his ascent to power. Now that he has it what next? According to Kishi, Sai has a big role to play we are eagerly awaiting this. All in all it is a nice climax to a tensed situation. Madara been the Mizukage will eventually hear what happened, well hope we see Kisame finally having his a*** handed to him, hope the fight will be seen (PLEASE). With members of Akatsuki dying off or quiting for whatever reasons. Zetsu and Madara will eventually have to fight or scram with certain powerful nations pissed with the Akatsuki problem. Hope Konaha will not split into pro danzou and pro Kakashi/Naruto/Tsunade camps.
