Ok I want you to think about your whole life and think... Have you been solely surviving or living?

Me personally my whole life I've been surviving. Coming from a poor and loveless family and other things makes it like that. I'm interested to see if anybody is actually living lol. Weird facisination I guess so please be honest

I honestly think we all have been surviving because yes there is a lot of us going thru that same situation as u such as myself lol seriously. Its hard enough to keep the roof over our head and to feed us and paying bills... So I believe its surviving... Living? Do people actually do that? Like if someone was rich they would be living, but what happens if they suddenly go broke? They have to try to get a job and they would have to actually qualify... They don't make it then what happens? They are still broke trying to survive.. trying to feed themselves with the little pocket change they found on the ground lol Seriously Im not kidding. And what about the hobos? they dig in garbage for food or steal.... Survival from death... Thats how I see it.

Mmmhmm I've thought of that and I was just seeing if anyone has taken life in their own hands and start to live instead of survive ^^ I believe people now a days don't stop and appreciate what they have and try to hard for something they don't need.

Right now I wouldn't say I'm living at all =/ I'm surviving, just as you said.

My family are relatively nice to me and we aren't poor either. Being well off does not always equal happiness/better life.

I'm middle class, but I'm only surviving.
Not being able to tell the difference between each day, because nothing happens.
Being stuck in a house, instead of out in the world doing something.
Really, I don't even have a job to take away the monotony.
I'd say living would be doing something.
So if you are doing something...be thankful. D:

i think we are all surviving because there are always things hurting us that could have possibly killed us...

atm coz of circumstances im more or less plodding along (i wouldn't call it surviving as it feels a lil to melodramatic for me), im at home and have a job that is if not forfilling or profitable at least something to do and gets me some money, its fairly fun most of the time too due to the people i work with, but all my mate round here have left for a variety of reasons. so yeah atm im not living much coz its harder to motivate myself for anything.

however thats not to say living is hard i know guys who dont have 2 pennies to rub together most days that do more 'living' than ive ever seemed to (and i did a fair bit in uni), money isnt the b all and end all just spend a little time each day doing something that makes you feel happy inside and your living i used to do anything of a certain level of randomness when ever i could at uni from lying in someones garden that had nice grass on a nice day to running as fast as i could in the rain in my sandles and more besides (actual stuff)

think of your live as a story and make sure its a good read it dosnt have to be action packed or full of amazing information it should just make the reader feel good

I'm surving. Everyday is like a obstacle,challenge, what ever word you want to use. I haven't reached living yet not at all. And I don't think I will get to the living point.

We are all surviving. Heck I know I have been since I was little and now even more so through my teens and now in my adult stage where I have to take care of my kids and wife as well. To me living=dieing. Each second, minute, hour, week, month, year that passes by is just a countdown till you are fully incapable of breathing. From the moment we are born we start dieing. No one is living just surviving each moment that passes by in life.

Everyday we face 1,000 ways to die......so we survieve (Thats spelt worng ._.) So yay!

Lol I created this topic to make a person say what is going on in their life and make them realize 'Wow O_O'. Then hopefully give them the power and determination to turn it around and Live ^^ Or to just make them feel better putting it out their in the open ^^

surviving most definitly...i mean i do hav fun times in my life but i wouldnt consider myself rly living....well not until my life gets on track & i find out what i really want

We breath To survive......we do breath to live....But that makes us survive through the days so We are always Surviving.

Of course everyone is technically surviving. The question is are you living life, enjoying every moment of it? Or just trying your damnedest to keep your head off the chopping block so to speak.

I'm living. If I said I was surviving (survive - from middle english surviven, from old french sourvivre, from latin supervvere : super-, super- + vvere, to live; see gwei- in Indo-European root = over-live) that would imply I'm liveing through a danger situation or a severe condition, simply as that, what it isn't true, since breathing is automatical lol
