Its here...oh man it explains a lot. Why it wasn't Kakashis time, and so forth. Now time for sasuke to get his *** beaten back to where he came from...personally I hope to see him off but that won't happen. And now that I think about it..Naruto can defeat Sasuke now. All six realms of Pein are a lot tougher and more balanced than sasuke. Yea he has the sharingan and Amaterasu, but he does something that a lot of opponents have done that has faced Naruto and lost...He has way to much confidence in his ability and he underestimates Naruto.

Plus, he doesn't know Naruto has mastered Sage mode, has something from Itachi to help defeat Sasuke or something, Rasenshuriken which can obliterate anything, also mastering his wind chakra. On top of all that, Naruto has Jiraiyas, Minatos, and now Nagatos dreams and wishes in his hands and when something like that is in stake, in no way in hell Naruto will go down for no one. That is one of his special abilities.

Anyhow, now I just want for Naruto to head back to the village and let everyone know (especially Kakashi) that he knows who his father is and what his plan is also.

Oh yeah good to see Konan is their to help out naruto now.

Am curiousto see where they go with this arc. Hawks never really seemed that stong to me and as stong as Sasuke is he couldnt possible be a match for sage mode. But how will Narutos emotions play out when he sees Saskue, you would think he'd sort himself out.

I liked this chapter. Naruto being entrusted with the hopes and dreams of those before him; Nagato and Naruto together being the children of prophecy; Amegakure going to support Konoha; Kakashi's chat with his dad... It wasn't much but I'm glad to know now the White Fang can move on... He's been stuck in limbo all this time just coz Kakashi hadn't forgiven him... that was so sad... It must have been lonely.
I'm ok with how this arc has ended. I'd have liked it if Nagato remained evil to the end... to show that there is someone after all who Naruto can't change... but I already knew that was never going to happen. Besides, I really liked the way it was shown that they were both the children of phrophecy. Now, I'm just waiting for the 4th great shinobi war.

Seriously though, when Nagato revived those people it really made me cry once I seen the scene with Kakashi and his father. I agree with ^^ it must have been really lonely all by himself like his spirit couldn't move on. One thing, Naruto couldn't really change Sasuke from his ways.. So that would kind of be one person that he couldn't change for the better... Things between their powers made it worse but is that a change? lol.?
Anyways, I am just a little too happy as you can see I cant even type correctly. I actually like the fact that their names are like Naruto and Nagato. Thats pretty funny why didn't any of us see this before once we knew that Nagato was involved with Jiraiya idk I don't wanna put too much thought into it after all it was supposed to take this long to figure out lol.

Naruto will loose against Sasuke 1v1 unless he finds an answer (like Bee did) for Sasuke's Genjutsu/Tsukuyomi. This is rock paper scissors at its finest, Naruto>Pain>Sasuke>Naruto. However it is not 1v1 and everyone will be recovered by the time he gets there. I'm not sure what is going to happen. The one thing that comes to mind is the complete destruction of the actual village will cause Sasuke to have some...different feelings, which will cause him to rethink things. But that is too obvious/predictable/lame so I hope that is not the answer. Next few chapters should prove "interesting".

Anyway the chapter itself was nice, but not great. On the plus side the whole chapter was mostly new dialogue, not half of it flash backs that we have seen before only 2-3 chapters ago (like the last 6 or whatever). On the downside though, Kakashi's talk with his father sure seems foolish and unnecessary now (though him living or dying didn't really bother me either way). Sasuke only just now leaving when 6 months ago we saw already saw him heading off and swearing revenge makes no sense whatsoever. I think Kishi must have forgotten he had already sent Sasuke there and contradicted himself or decided to make a plot hole (he has done this before, like Naruto failing the gennin exam multiple times when none of his other class mates did, but they are all the same age). Still I never thought I would be happy to see that poorly designed generic emo unlikeable douchebag but I was, though Sasuke has always been interesting when he is in situations with Naruto. When he is out on his own though I would rather watch paint dry (I was soooooo close to stopping reading the manga last year lol).

AMAZING!!! That's what I've got to say of this chapter!! Kakashi's ALIVE!! I'm crying 'cause I'm so excited LOL... I loved how they both turned out to be the child of prophecy I know Jiraya would have been happy even if Nagato did kill him... Its amazing that he had that jutsu and decided to give Konoha a chance , still Sasuke had to appear and kind of ruin my mood LOL Does he know madara sent Pain to Konoha? He's no match for Naruto right now, that's IF Naruto doesn't freeze up like he always does because he doesn't want to kill Sasuke... I'll just wait and see what he intends to do in Konoha and I'll love to see Madara's face when he learns Pain is dead and now Amegakure supports Naruto!! Great chapter!!!

that was a great chapter, cant wait till the next one. even though he was only in like 3 pannels, its still great that sasuke is finally back in the picture. he said they were headed to the village months ago, its about tme. im a litter curious as to how sasuke is going to react to seeing the village completly annialated

he makes the darkest characters turn snow white not just leading his budies but those bad guys whind up on his side aka garra. little did i realize . i did sence it . how much that scene with Haku;s and Momochi Zabuza's grave in the sunset background. a scene repeated in garras turning i now realize this is the stregnth this is what draws thias 60 yr old guy to this show.i wish our kids had examples of this thought pattern on our tv.

Good question I myself thought about that. Now that Nagato is dead, Madara and the other Akatsuki members cannot draw anymore of the Bijuus out of their host (even though theirs two left). But still, Nagato is needed to summon the heretical statue no one else can do it. And even if he left the statue their it would cancel out once he died just like any other Jutsu. At least I think so. So are the 7 bijuus that were caught lost in that statue? I'm sure once Madara finds out he will sincerely ticked off. Or, he'll say something like all he needs is the Kyuubi but even so his plans for world domination is ruined because no more super weapon of destruction.

Thats why I hated this chapter.......Evil Falls.....

Like I said in the spoilers, this arc was highly needed. It was for naruto to grow up and reach Sasukes level. I'm glad to finally see Sasuke so that this story can now progress ^^

I can understand now why you are glad to see Sasuke. Very true the story can progress now which is a great thing. After all this though, I don't know if a battle would occur between the two. Maybe if Sasuke threatened the village or try to destroy it, than yea naruto would go ballistic on him. I'm sure after all that's happened he wouldn't want to see the village in disarray again.

Am not surprise at all ......... like i said from the beginning when Naruto has changed the hearts if most of his over powered opponent. However, Pain would of been impossible to beat.. if they had not get all that data on him.......and i new he could revive the dead that he kill ............. but what puzzles me is how did he learn all those jitsu........ and now that he is gone how will the statue form to seal the nine tails..........

am betting the nine tails will be sealed and naruto will have to use the chakara of many ninjas create a huge rasengan (DBZ goku style) to destroy the weapon of doom.........

I think Madara is gonna know Nagato is dead immediately... If I remember correctly the last time we saw Madara they were trying to extract the 8-Tails from Killerbee (I think thats his name) but he got out without them noticing so the statue that Pain set up before leaving for Konoha will immediately dissapear while Madara and company are "taking" the 8-tails no?? If it does happen they're gonna know something's going on with Pain. In my opinion if the statue does dissapear then the bijuus will too...and Madara can't really use the Kyuubi because he is inside Naruto right?

Just logically good luck continuing the series when it is only like halfway done without the main character. Say what you will but the show revolves around him so he cannot die unless it is at the end of the series.

That's not always true. There are OTHER characters in Naruto, believe it or not. There could still be a story WITHOUT him.

I wonder what will happen to fans when Sasuke goes good as well because of Naruto, because it will happen, its bound to happen that is part of the whole point of this series. As I said before, evil always falls before good, its cliche but its true especially in this series. I mean I understand the frustration some ppl are going through when Nagato died but, get over it and continue. I did when Jiraiyah died, when Itachi died, when Asuma died, when Hiruzen died, and I was ready to accept Kakashis death. The point is, this series is about Naruto and what he experienced and what he went through to achieve his goals.


As someone said before in another thread, everyone but Naruto is expendable. Some certain characters have a huge role in the story but they are still expendable. Prepare yourself when Naruto defeats sasuke because it will happen, and also when sasuke turns good and faces Madara which I believe will happen.

But true Kishi could pull a fast one on us as you say but in this series when has evil conquered completely. You could say when Jiraiya died by Peins hands but eventually he got his. All I'm saying is that most ppl (not me because I don't care, I'm not evil nor good I'm whatever I want to be) anyhow most ppl like a happy ending and that's a fact.

well, well, well still seems Sasuke is still hell bent on the destruction of Konoha, whats wrong with the scenario? Is he really the Shinobi Orochimaru trained, devoid of emotion as to destroy the place that he once called home! True he has Ametarasu,Tsukoyumi and possibly knows how to conjure up Susanoo. That aside he is an excellent ninja but surely he can't hope to win where Orochimaru failed with the might of two villages behind him, and the might of a Jinchurikii for him to use, well he failed and I think Sasuke surely will, or does he think Konoha will simply crane their necks and let him inflict the death blow? If he is a nihilist, I doubt if team hawk are? We are waiting however for a showdown with Danzou, seems that he keeps popping up at the things that seem to bring pain to others.
