Introduction: Hi, from now on, we will be doing this weekly, I will make a topic about the latest release and then for those of us that did watch it, we can have a discussion on what happened and or is going to happen in the future.

i thought this chapter was quite cool get to see more of shino and hinata ( she has a really cute voice now) and kiba i almost wet myself watching the ending song i just thought it was hilarious anybody else?

I really liked the ending...hehehe sooo funny

lmao the ending song was the greatest one ever. I have to try out those new dance moves now.

I'm curious what everyone thought about the new fansub group? I watched both the DB and HS versions. HorribleSubs seems very good, great quality and the subs were excellent. I'd say I like DB better overall; DB's subs seem to make a bit more sense in some places, probably because HS bases their subs more off the literal translations, which don't always make perfect sense in English. But still, HS is more than good enough to fill the void DB is leaving behind.


The ep itself was pretty fun. A good mix of action and comedy. This Guren is becoming a more interesting character; and it seems like Kakashi's encountered the crystal element before. I realize Guren isn't canon, but it's interesting to consider if she's stronger than Kabuto or not (of course Kabuto's med ninjutsu are more useful to Oro, which is why he's Oro's right hand man, but that doesn't necessarily mean he could take Guren in a 1-on-1 fight).

I also love getting to see how Kiba, Hinata, and Shino in action.

More of Jiraiya = great ep, always. I hope we get to see a lot more of Jiraiya coming up, especially training Naruto.

I only wish Naruto's toad wasn't green and metrosexual. Kinda kills the bad-a** jutsu part of it. I only wonder - if the new jutsu isn't canon, how is Naruto going to use it in real battles?

Also, did Naruto not recognizing Shino happen already in the anime? I thought that scene hadn't been animated yet, I don't remember Hinata fainting or anything.

Overall, good ep, worth the wait.

For being filler, it wasn't a bad episode. I don't like Shino much personally, but that's mostly cause I hate bugs. Plus he talks weird.



I do think DB is a better sub overall, but HS seems to be decent enough to watch in DB's place now that they're stopping. I have to say though, they fail for not translating the songs. I don't care if they do a karaoke the way DB did, but I at least want to know what the lyrics are. And I agree that they seem to be doing a more literal translation in some places, but it's well done and good quality.

Good episode but intro is still the same only changed a few clips here and there and the ending was a surprise, didn't see that one coming.

Its about time Naruto is learning some real ninjustu he can use, he said he wanted to know a long range ninjustu wondering how that would work out, I'm sure it will be awesome.

Why are they putting Gaykashi in every team first he was with Shikamaru teams now he's in Kiba's team what the hell... what happened to Yamato?? dude I'm hope Gaykashi gets his a** kicked again.

From this team made of Kiba, Shino and Hinata I think Kiba is the best because he's like part animal he has high senses and his dog is just huge no doubt they can do some major damage can't wait to see some of his new ninjustu's

Always gotta love the ending though when Orochimaru and Sasuke is about to face off in a high intense battle to see how much stronger Sasuke as gotten. By the way whats the story about that little girl who doesn't know where she's from?? that part makes no sense to me.

Dont get high hopes for any cool possibilities because

SINCE its filler, EVERYTHING naruto learns will never be used when we return back to the story line

Oros side and kakshi's team + naruto will probably NEVER meet

Or it would just screw everything up, Naruto and sasuke will DEF NOT meet, if they do it would be really screwed up

so what im guessing is that sasuke stays home w/ oro and kabu and that random kid and guren go and meet naruto n crew

first off....he did meet them in the very beginning of shippudden when he first returned back from his last training trip with pervy sage....and thats were that scene with shino and hinata happened.....
second decent episode...the ending was super funny especially guy and lee, and choji's face in one of them when he squished his cheeks was really funny....i would love to see oro vs sasuke that would be a good battle i think........i wish they would change the opening song tho...i wonder why they didn't for this filler?

and they last around like what 20-30 eps or something

and they jsut stretched the op so it would fit over storyline arc and filler arc

Cuz filler arcs dont deserve their own op, it woudl be too expensive

maybe they will do it so that filler and main arc is gonna happen at same time for a bit...nonetheless its interesting enough to continue watching

you know sometimes db screws up ive seen it quite a lot before once in every ep there will be a minor grammatically incorrect statement but i get over it

I don't think anyone's denying that Dattebayo was the best overall. But if they're quitting, I think HorribleSubs is more than good enough to take their place. I've seen some truly horrible subs that make no sense in English. HS had a couple sketchy places, where I had to replay the scene and try to figure out what they meant, but overall it was good enough that it didn't detract from the ep. And that's all that really matters. Plus, hopefully as they do more Naruto they'll improve.

I just want Naruto eps on my hard drive, no streaming crap. So I'm grateful for HS.


On another note - what's with these different versions that HS released? Can someone explain how their quality compares to DB? I couldn't get the 2 bigger versions to play on my computer, only the smallest one worked. And I thought I had a decently powerful computer, but guess not. Did anyone else have problems?

I watched the ep in HS subs and DB subs

And I realized how much im goinan miss DB

They were so awesome and their subs flowed really well

HS is Great, they just need more experience with naruto

Omg and they Released the sub 30 mins after the raw release

wow no wonder it wasnt as great if the release it the day after and with db standard subs ill be rapped with them

All in all a very good episode. We got to see Jiraiya, Hinata, Kiba and the bug guy

I got hopes for a new technique and a lot of action with toads and it seems we'll be seeing a whole lot of action with Ortochimarus henchmen this time round.

Can't wait to see the next ep, allthough it will be subed by other than DB. But we'll see.

I thing episode 91st would be great episode of Naruto series, as me i have watched it many times and think others too..so who watched 91st episode many time as me?

thats right if they read some mangas or look some eps they will know , what to make better and i hope they will improve ,
from eps to eps from naruto HS will gather more experience and all will be fine with the time
