So i was wondering what about a manga makes you want to read it or like it. Was it the beautiful artwork that attracted you? Or the interesting title? The character design or personality? Maybe you heard it from a friend or saw it advertised a lot some place?

naruto is the only manga i have really got into and i got into it through a friend i had been watching the anime but he said the manga was way ahead and tonnes was happening so i started reading it and now i read and watch both the reason i like naruto is because of like i voted the the characters i almost find i can relate to them and i also like it because of the good storyline it always leaves you hanging

really? I've read a couple mangas before. One kept me interested because of a particular character. Yukino Hyoujo from Gatekeepers. I read the first manga of Magic Knight Rayearth because I was bored and because it was popular LOL.

I also bought manga because I liked the anime... I read some naruto Manga to see what's up with some of favorite characters and the story line.

And because its popular.

the story must be interesting for me to like it, and the artwork plays a big part because if the character doesnt look appealing, i would get the first impression that the story suck and i wont bother reading it.

yea i am pretty stupid like that sometimes or all the time if the cover doesnt look cool i'll be like this is gay and put it down and when i said naruto is the only manga i have got into what i meant was that i havnt been bothered to look around because naruto keeps me busy enough and im not that good at reading anyways

i voted the story line but really i browse a lot of manga and its just about anything that catches my eye, if the good points outweigh the bad thats fine with me add to that something i really like (a character, some comedy, intriuging storyline) and im in

yeah for me, the artwork may catch my eye, then the title. I'd have to look at the sotry and the characters before i get sold into it though.

for me, obviously it has to have a little humor in it. i like to laugh.
or just a good storyline. i like mangas that get intense.
