lol crap I didn't read the thread so I missed your post Matt. Yeah I don't respect them very much, and they can't play live for **** (notice how I said they are a great "studio band"), but it doesn't stop their albums from being pretty awesome. Also for the record it's not just Mayhemfest, they simply can barely play their stuff live at any time haha. They fck up all the time, they even play the intro of TFaF on a keyboard =/.

But mainly it's because it's the only active fanclub of a band that I'm even remotely interested in. Sorry but Dragonforce>Disturbed and those other gay alternative metal and emo bands xD. And if I made an In Flames or whatever Fanclub only me and Haxx would join lol.

Haha it was ok. Don't really agree with the reason why he says everyone hates them on youtube. It's not just that the quality is terrible, or the distortion isn't properly integrated like it is in the recording. The main reason is simply because they fck up a lot live. But honestly no guitarists can really play what they play live. They go way out of the bounds of what is possible, so when they are live they make a lot of mistakes.

That's why they are mainly a studio band, but an awesome one at that. It pumps you up ridiculously hearing what is on the recording and it sounds amazing. But they shouldn't make excuses as to why everyone thinks they suck live.

Yea a rock concert is to loud for bad camera to play properly.But Avengedsevenfold play fast and there shows are awesome.
