I look down at the shinobi below me. Finally I smirk. Not because he is so far away from me. But because he fell right into my trap.

Deidara: Sorry kid, I've been playing with you this whole time.

Around Sai is 100's of Aphids, they are all over his body as many of them sink into his skin and latch on. Many of them are on his ink bird as well.

Deidara: Do you remember when I did this?

(A flashback scene occurs)



Deidara: Heh, I wasn't aiming for the village of Konoha at all. The whole time I had planned to attach a female aphid to your body in hopes of it rapidly reproducing near your body and on your body without you noticing. Following this, the second part of my plan was to reach an altitude where there is no hope of you getting any real help, not only that. A replacement jutsu is impossible.

I smirk with a wide grin as I finally scream;

Deidara: THIS IS THE END! KATSU!

A large C2 explosion is seen as all 400 of the mini aphids attached and in Sai's skin explode.

(Kakashi)

'Hopefully that boy has a transmitter and reciever'
"Sai, Sai can you hear me?"

I am pleased with myself as I watch the body of Sai drop from an altitude of approximately 550m above sea level.

Deidara: Stage 1.. Complete.

"Sakur...a..." Sai said as he closed his eyes and continued falling. "I'm... s-sorr...y..."

"Kiba! Go catch him!" Temmari yelled as she took out her fan and blew it a few times to try and slowl him down. At the same time, Kiba and Akamaru jump off the top of a tree and catch him.

I slowly begin to make my decent down to about 300m above sea level.

Deidara: Now that I have that pest out of the way. This village is MINE.

I had a cold chill rushed down my spine as I waited.

"No SAI!"

"Oh my god! Look Sai's falling!"
----------------
I tried gathering my sand to break his fall.

I smirk as I watch the villagers scurry around to catch their fallen shinobi.

Deidara: What a tear jerker.. How sad, oh well! Theres no point, it would take a true medical genius to make any progress with the kid, the explosion would have caused 3rd degree burns all across his body. Not to mention punctured vital organs and closed chakra points. Even if you saved him; he'd been hospitalized for weeks. Unfortunately for Konoha.. Time is running short--

Kiba landed on the ground and easily sat Sai down on the ground.

Temari and Shikamaru ran to him.

"Sai!" Shikamaru said, skidding on his knees, sitting beside Sai, looking at him.

"Kakashi Senei. How bad does it look?" Temari asked, already knowing the answer.

(Kakashi)

"Bad, really really bad..."

"Where's Sakura, or Lady Tsunade?!"

I look down with my robotic eye and realize many people are gathered around the fallen shinobi. I use this time to throw my hand into my pouch.

Deidara: Fools... Death is an accepted part of a shinobi's life. Never turn your back on a battle.

Deidara creates 8 pelican birds and sends them down towards Konoha. 2 to the North. 2 to the West. 2 to the East. 2 To the South.

Deidara: KATSU!

((Lol, I feel so evil XD))

They all ducked from the explosions.

"What the hell!?" Shikamaru yelled angrily, then looking up. "SH*T!!"

"D*MN! Last night I seen her walking towards Sai's house" Kiba said. "And I don't know where Lady Tsunade is."

"Someone needs to go find someone... NOW!" Shikamaru yelled.

Deidara: Still haven't learned your lesson it seems... How sad. Heh, oh well.

I conjure up some more critters as I send them down into Konoha village.

Deidara: KATSU!

"That's it!" Shikamaru yelled and ran up and tried doing

"Shadow Possession Jutsu!" Shikamaru yelled.

Since there's so much smoke around, maybe that'll create enough shadow to reach him!

It started working as Shikamaru pushed it as hard as he could.

Deidara: D-damn it! He's got me!

I felt another chill. "I'm sorry sai!"

(Kakashi)

"Hinata! go get Sakura!"
----------------
"Alright Kakashi sensei!" I ran towards Sai's house.
----------------
"Good! I'll make a barrier to keep away the explosions!" I tried to conjeur up a wall to protect the citizens.

Shikamaru lifted his hands out to the side and pulled out a kunai fromm his pouch.

I am forced to reach into my pouch and pull out a kunai as well.

Self sacrifice if that's what it takes!

Shikamaru lifted his kunai and stabbed himself in the center of his left hand, where the guy's mouth would be and twisted it in circles. He clenched his teeth shut.

See if he's really in my control before I actually do somethign more drastic!

(Deidara)

I find myself shooting the kunai right at my left hand. Closing my eyes and clenching my teeth I hope for the best.

Deidara: SH*T!

I open my eyes to find that I'm still alive however. Forcing my hand back is the kunai of another shinobi.. Well, not exactly a shinobi. But a puppet.

Deidara: GOD DAMN IT SASORI-SAMA! Took you long enough!

(Sasori)

I use my chakra strings to pull away the 3rd Kazekage puppet. My face remains calm and melachony.

Sasori: Sorry to keep you waiting Deidara..

I ran towards where the others might be.

"Sai-kun! Cmon bite me, it will help heal you!" I said as I rolled up one of my sleeves.

I saw Sai was nowhere so I thought he might be at the gates.

Sai's eyes started closing slowly.

I saw the others gathered... but where's Sai? "SAI!"

I reached Sai's house but no one was home...

I pushed everyone out of my way. "Sai." I saw he was hurt so i kneeled beside him and tried to heal him.

'Sakura'

"Sai, speak to me..."

Sai opened his eyes a tiny bit when he heard Sakura.

"S-Sakur-ra..." he said in a weak voice. I... l-love.... you..."

Sai's body went limp.

Everyone watched sorrowfully as a fellow ninja and friend, dying, not knowing anything that could help him.

"Sai i love you but you're not going to die!" I healed him as fast as i could...

I ran back to see Sakura back with the others... and Sai dying...

I hung my head in sorrow and respect.
----------------
'Sai you are a good man.' I hung my head also.

Karin and Kakashi both hung their heads.

S-Sakura... I'm so sorry. Temari thought.

"Please Sai..." I cried and as the tears fell i tried to heal him the best i could.

I wanted to be by her side, but i didn't think it was the best descision right now...

*The smoke starts to clear and a ray of sunshine shines on Sai*

"I-It was like he was holding on just long enough to tell Sakura he loved her" Temari said in a low, sorrowful voice.

"Sai..." I stopped. There was nothing else I could do then just to hug him and cry. "I love you... I love you so much Sai..." I gave him one last kiss.

Sakura keeps crying and holding Sai as she tells him she loves him so. Kakashi tries to get Sakura to let go. The others just stood by in sorrow and watched.

Sai's eyes open very slightly, just enough for him to see through them a tiny bit.

(Kakashi)

"Cmon Sakura... you gotta let go..."

"You learned all this when you started ninja training. all shinobi put their lives at risk and some of them never come back..."

The others bowed their heads to show their respects while Hinata cries, Gaara tries to speak a few words of kindness while Sasuke tries to help.

Sai wanted to speak, but couldn't.

Am I still dead? They're still crying over me. Everyone... paying their respects. I am still dead...

Sai kept trying to speak, but no sound would come out and his mouth wouldn't move to allow him to.

"Sai..." I kissed him again but his lips didn't feel lifeless like before...
'No way... is he alive?! OMG! Sai!'
