Well, the new Metallica album released today. It's kinda a return to their old thrashy sound, after 20 long years, when nobody was expecting something great from them anymore. I find it kinda nice, their best since Puppets (counting number of good songs in an album) So, thoughts about it.

For me is surely the best since Puppets. After Cliff Burdon died, Metallica went downhill. Thats the fist "uphill" step in like 22 years to me.

The Black Album is probably my favorite also. That and puppets. Ever since the black album they have been pretty bad. One uphill step is still far from the good 'ol days.

Master of Puppets is like -_- just Master of Puppets if you know what I mean.

The guitar hero version is far better than the studio version, which has compressed sound and bad quality.

So after listening to some of the crappy pop songs on their album, I didn't really listen to the whole thing. I did yesterday and damn. The majority of their album has taken some really good steps towards what made Metallica so great 10 years ago. Really good turn around, still nothing compared to their earlier stuff, it's much better than their last few albums!

I'm the only one here who liked the loads? Oh well.
New album is not bad... but fav still And Justice 4 all becuz is prog. And I luv prog.

Blackened, One and Dyers Eve are three songs that easily can made their way to any top 10 metallica songs...
