can someone explain why sakura was crying?

An average episode. No action, lots of memories and training (for Naruto).

I was hoping to see akatsuki in action sfter the last 2 eps but no. Well at least I hope that the next episode will kick some serious butt!

@ LilBoom - sakura was crying because their team broke apart and Sasuke left. Like Iruka said "Everyone has changed".

I personally don't believe Sakura was crying only for their broken team and Sasuke absence. She's been crying about that for far too long now. To be shedding tears for only that would be a little too redundant. I believe she was crying because she finally admitted to herself that she truly has feelings for Naruto; hence the reason why she felt she wasn't doing anything significant for him. That's why all of her flash backs are featuring a majority of only Naruto speaking, in addition to subject matter consisting of only him. For example, one flash back of younger Naruto can be referenced as he yells to Sakura such things as: 'woman of my dreams' while Sakura only replies to Naruto portraying Sasuke with little to no significance in the subject matter. The tear from her eyes was used as a transition point near the end to show Naruto looking up at the sky; holding all of Sakura's notes from her baskets of soldier pills. Several other quotes such as 'What really matters are you feeling for Naruto' can be heard, reinforcing the meaning. In conclusion, even though the subject between the two was about the loss of Sasuke and their determination to pursue him, I believe the deeper meaning of the montage was meant to show the bond that both Naruto and Sakura had created because of it, and the deeper more serious relationship that is blooming from the change caused in absence of Sasuke

Yeah captainm nailed it. I'm surprised by what Kishi's doing. I hate myself for getting into the romance side of Naruto, but still, we all figured it was supposed to be Naruto-Hinata and Sakura-Sasuke. But now that Sasuke's gone, and has proved to be a monumental a**, Sakura's feelings about Naruto have changed.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this next fight, much more than even Sakura-Sasori. We've rarely seen Asuma in full-fledged action, and Shikamaru hasn't played a big role in Shippuuden yet. I just wish the other 2 members of their team had been chosen better. Gai or Kakashi or Yamato would have been fun to see side-by-side with Asuma. If they wanted to pick smaller characters, I would have included Genma, Anko, or Ibiki. Those characters are all far more interesting than those 2 weird chuunin.

yeah in a way i liked this episode eventho there was no fighting, still wanna see that holy guys deal is!! and yes i think captainm nail it rite on thats what i thought when i saw it and put it all together!!!

and for the 2 guys goin with Shikamaru and Asuma dont think we reallyt know what thier specialty is?!??!

i agree that sakura was crying because she realized she does have feelings for naruto....and i actually like that because it will add more of a dynamic to the story i think... i am excited to see the next battle and it looks like it "may get started" next episode..i can only hope.....i do wish that the other two genin going with asuma and shikamaru were someone we knew but its always good to see others get involved........
