For me its star wars cause han solo could kick captain kirk or bercard @$$ any day of the week not to mention the fact that star wars has more action than star trek so in my opinon star wars kicks star treks butt

Star Wars is old. Star Trek is getting a new movie out which will have all of the original crew.
While I like both I'll side with Star Trek cause my big bro is a trekkie. Besides, I've read more Star Trek than Star Wars.

Is that addressed to me??? coz really i couldn't care less one way or another about this debate. Like I've said, I've watched and read both star trek and star wars. The only reason that I've read more star trek is because my bro has more star trek novels than he has star wars. In fact I'm pretty sure that the star wars novels that he does have were all given to him by either cousins or friends. He's never bothered to buy any star wars novels but he goes out of his way to buy star trek and I can't be bothered to shop for something I enjoy but don't have a really huge interest in. If it's easily available, as in, already present in the home, I'll read it. Also, although he has a large collection of star trek episodes, I haven't seen them because I simply am not that interested in it. The only reason I chose star trek was that I have more information about it than i do about star wars.

Star Trek is much better than Star Wars.

Most fans openly admit that the new Star Wars movies were complete crap and ruined the series.

Star Trek has television, and thus has much more content and more episodes. The science is also realistic, unlike Star Wars. Star Trek can also do more than Star Wars can, since Wars has two clearly defined sides. Trek has many different races and civilizations each with their own goals and objectives. Trek can also have more storylines. Where one or two Treks can be about exploration, another can simply be about making back to Federation space alive, such as Star Trek Voyager.

Star Wars was a good story. The movies were horrible. Lucas is just... Lets just say that I just hope he doesn't make another movie. Star Wars could have been so much better. The new three were completely botched up.

Star Trek is not so good of a story, but thats probably because I don't know it too well. Plus, given that it was mainly a low budget show to begin with, I doubt it would be as good as Star Wars. That is why I guess it has a bad rap. I'm looking forward to seeing the new movie to get a taste of what the story-line is really about.

Star wars is like Nintendo. They both are foucusing on Kids. I love star wars for what they have done just like nintendo.
