Both of those look like fan pics/drawings. No superman cartoon, movie, comic I have seen has had him be any more than a bit "superhuman". He is the man of steel, can take a solid punch, is WAY stronger than a normal human, has super speed and can fly. Sure it was an understatement to say he could only lift up a car. He is much stronger than that. But those compared to the Dragonball universe? You have seen what they have done, it is ridiculous if anything. Along with the traditional Kryptonian senses ten new abilities were added to the Dynasty by the marriage of a Superman to Queen Gzntplzk of the Fifth Dimension. These new abilities include techno-rapport (the ability to control computers), limited control of magnetism, genesis level intellect, super-ESP (a form of super-hypnosis), no longer as susceptible to magic, the ability to think billions of different lines of thought at the same time, etc.

There is no way Goku could win Against The Man Of Steel. These versions of Superman are inmpervious to harm. None of those Kamehameha's would affect Superman bacause he isn't evil.

Goku would have had no problem lifting several hundred if not a thousand tons even at that time if he so desired to go SS3. By the end of DBGT he would have had no problem moving planets.

He also has the power of Ki, ranged abilities which have the power to destroy solar systems in his own right. Superman has nothing like these.

However I honestly had no idea that Superman could be that ridiculous. All the comics and tv series i've seen has had him almost within the realm of possibility of other humans, except that he could fly. But perhaps you are right, he might be able to beat Goku, but I'm still doubtful. Goku could pretty much do anything you have shown superman doing.

Well Pre-Crisis Superman can't die. Don't bring up doomsday, we all know Superman never died there.

Anyway Goku doesn't like to "show off" his strength in a way to push himself to his limits. He doesn't like to blow up planets to test his strength, and Akira hasn't given Goku a super weight machine that would test his strength as Super Saiyan Oozaru (his probably "psychical transformation". But we know he could destroy Planets,suns, moons etc with just a small fraction of his energy. If he was Gogeta he could probably make a single explosion strong enough to wipe out an entire galaxy. So while Superman can move planets Goku can destroy them with a mere ounce of his energy.

Also it's hardly fair. Superman has gone from author to author so quickly it's hardly "superman" anymore. The original writers only intended him to be "Faster than a speeding bullet" and "More powerful than a locomotive". So he has changed much from the original concept. I could say "Well Goku has the strength of a googol tons". Now do I win the argument?
