I have been pondering after seeing the last time Sasuke and Naruto confonted one another. And in the end can naruto save sasuke or will they destroy one or the other.

No... Sadly, I just think that Sasuke is too deep into his own pride now. I really want Naruto to fulfill this promise, since it really does mean so much to him... but I think for Sasuke is too late... so he is going to destroy Sasuke, and in the process destroy himself...

I have to disagree with you hotagi, this doesn't happen very often.

I think naruto will, "save," sasuke. We've seen it all the time with naruto, he changes people. The best example and one i use a lot is gaara. Gaara was a complete wack-job before naruto saved him. And you have to realize the thing between naruto and sasuke is a lot like what happened between jiraiya and orochimaru. Jiraiya told him to just give up and had some flashbacks of his own, but naruto refused and said he'd never give up. I think that when he saves sasuke it will show how he has surpased jiraiya by doing something he couldn't do, "since the entire plot is naruto becoming hokage and becoming the best ninja ever." The one thing that's most important about naruto is he never goes back on his word. He promised sakura he'd bring sasuke back and i think he will. He'll either die or save sasuke in my opinion, and I don't think he'll die.

Ever since Time-Skip... Kishi seems to show the dark side and reality of the ninja world... Like him actually not being able to save Gaara... he got lucky Chiyo was there... or the time he hurt Sakura... or Asuma/Jiraiya dying. I just... Idk... see this ending with a sad ending =/

well, here's the way i put it. i think naruto will save sasuke and keep his promise to bring him back, but they will make one hell of a fight before he does. sasuke may severly wound or kill naruto, but before naruto dies/passes out, he says something so heart wrenching, sasuke feels so bad that he carries naruto back to the village.

As i like the whole civil, then great shinobi war scenario i think the fight between sasugay and naruto will be relatively close as i'm doubting it being th pinnacle fight now... it could end with sasuGay and Naruto coming to fight together against Madaara If he actually managed to take over Fire Country... as much as i hate win-win situation involving sasuGay-teme at least Naruto would be defeated by the loser

its gona be just like jiraya and orochimaru he will try but he is to far gone so to protect the village he's going to have to kill him or hurt him till he can no longer be a shinobi

Naruto does have the ability to change people... and Itachi did say that Sasuke was still pure in a sense... may not be totally now, but I don't think he's totally unsavable.
So yeah, I think Naruto will save Sasuke, or come near death trying to do so. But, I believe Sasuke will probably end up dieing and realize he was wrong too late and is unable to fix it.

Naruto is way to nice for his own good... I seriously think that they may team up in the future again

ugh i think the 4th movie messed me up, ok i feel that naruto and sasuke both pass out (i don't want either of them to die...and sasuke 4 2 reasons one, my fc and 2 the anti sasu fc, seriously, where would ur anti fc be with out the person who it is about)
and someone really doesn't matter who, just heals them. and yada fullfill promise. sorry half asleep, i come up with better story later.

Sasugay is in probably in Akatsuki to use them to get back at Konoha... then he'll proably turn on Madara since he is the underlying cause of all his problems.

As for the Naru Sasu teaming up... only in Naruto's dreams.
