I think Temari has the advantage she is a long distance fighter while hinata is a close taijutsu time plus she (temmari) already turned a jonin after the time-skip.

Hinata would win. close combat fighters are not stupid to get hit and not to retaliate. Hinata would be able to close that gap, and beat Temari. gentle fist would be blocked by that giant fan. the cutting power of the huge fan would be negated by Hinata's new technique (granted, it was only shown in the anime).

Temari doesn't have that much will power as Hinata. so my vote would go to Hinata.

temari is stronger than hinata and as smart as shika and besides she already saw naruto expose neji and the gentle fist style.

chunin/ jounin doesnt mean anything i mean shikamaru killed hidan i mean its based on skill and other stuff

Agree that ninja rank doesn’t always determine a fight’s outcome. Naruto is still technically a genin, and can be up ninjas with higher ranking. However I think Shikamaru vs. Hidan wasn't the best example. Asuma died to expose Hidan’s weakness….without which, Shikamaru wouldn’t have been able to defeat Hidan.

Still. Hinata would not win.

Temari wins in the match because she can fight long distances while Hinata can't.

Shikumaru is a lot smarter than temari, but temari is stronger than hinata

hum this could really go either way it depends on the starting setup (close and hinata could finish it long she's unlikely to cover the distance) so id say its down to who gets the heads up first (and dictates the feils of battle. as for who taht is more likely to be well its got to be temari

yup, temari is a long range fighter but what ever she throws at hinata, her gentle fist can block it. as for her fans cutting-power, hinata already developed her unique technique of gentle fist that is both offensive and defensive (anime filler)

Temari Or Hinata actually. It also depends on Pre time-skip or afterwords. Pre, Temari would most likely crush Hinata. After time-skip, It could go either way. Since Temari is long-range and weak against hand to hand combat Hinata could take her down if she got the chance. But Temari can also take Hinata out before she gets that chance. Speed would also be another addition to the fight. It would be a good fight.

As much as I'd hate to admit it, A.C.E. is right. In both pre and post time skip Temari would win.
Pre: Temari was strong as hell! Even though Hinata kept getting stronger, so did Temari.
Post: Hinata is still a Chunin, and Temari is a Jounin, no durr Temari would win.

I will say this though, we haven't seen how both of them fight now, so we can't really say anything. Temari could pull off some new thing, while Hinata can do a new skill. All in all, this would be a very interesting fight.

who keeps putting Hinata in their VS post. Hinata has too much power she's that strongest females shinobi there is. Neji and Hinata are the same that means they don't have any weaknesses. Temari all she got is her stupid fan she's only good from long distant battles but in close combat she's dead. I'm going for Hinata all the way, she's just way too good. Bayukugan for the WIN.
