Qhost is quite the nasty Trojan, Clever lil bugger too.
Disabling Active Scripting would prevent infections from QHost. That would prevent the infecting pop-unders from working, but it could affect the loading of other Web sites as well.
More technical souls can remove the MIME registry key. The key is located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesMIMEDatabaseContent Typeapplication/hta
Basically your internet should already be hi-jacked so dont really bother googling for help. The virus is already sending you to bogus sites if not alot of p*** sites.
If you can still use your computer, I suggest going to this site.
http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/solutions/activescan/Run both scans. If possible check whether your anti-virus got disabled after the scan. Might need to re-install it.
