Dang you Naruto, turning Sai from a cold-hearted killer into a smiling pantywaist. I really wanted to watch Sai murder some people before Naruto got his therapist-claws into Sai. Oh well.

Not a bad episode, all said. Not the best, but at least next week we get to see the confrontation episode teased at the beginning of the show.

Last week we explored how Orochimaru makes his fortresses. (Snakes, apparently. This gives the floors, walls, and ceilings their nice spiral designs. I'm still not sure who put in those thick wooden doors, though.)
This week I want to know who lights all the candles, and who replaces them?
Every single one of the candles shown is at nearly full height, meaning they were recently replaced. They show the appropriate degree of melting to allow for being lit for the whole time that Team 7 has been in the building, but this means that every single candle was replaced just before Team 7 got there.
Not only that, but since the candles show an even burn rate between them, that means that all of the candles were lit at the same time.
Does Orochimaru use flame-belching snakes to accomplish this task, or does he use a secret 'Candle lighting jutsu'?
If he uses snakes for these sorts of mundane tasks, what else does the lazy SOB use them for?

i really don't care much about this episode
i just can't belive finaly an amazing episode is coming the animation of it is amazing it is just like the begining

Sai must be pretty powerful to confront a sharingan user - Sasuke.

i thought the ep wasn't very special
the show just lagging till the season is up lol

I hoped that at the end of this episode we'll at least see Naruto and Sasuke facing each other, but then I remembered: Oh, yea, this episode is 'bout Sai's picture book, LOL!

now, after seeing that assassination assignments list - Naruto, Sakura and Yamato think Sai wants to kill Sasuke, but he's changed

next week's episode is a one hour and they are 51 52 and this is a good thing but the next episode won't be released until April 3 and the next one won't be released until April 19 .......................................to the good news the episode that will be released on April 3 is also a one hour special yes 53 54 ................................................................................

In the episode, Naruto and company found that Sasuke is in Sai's "bingo book".
Also in the end Sai found a person wearing a shirt with the uchiha clan logo on the back.
Also oro is planning to kill Sai.
Also Naruto tripped and Sai left his bag again.

Heh, so basically if u look at it, it all basically cancels out to one episode a week still, just their showing 2 episodes in one week's time instead two.

Anyways, pretty cool episode

You can watch Episode 1 again, it's somewhat similar.. lol

Decent episode, nothing really too exciting though we did get so see some character development of Sai which will pay off in the long run of the series, Next week should be awesome considering they've hyped it up for so long

Some acion is definitely gonna come in the next episode, I can hardly wait!

About the candles - I bet Kabuto has to do them and he probably uses some cloning jutsu (like Naruto) to do it faster.

There are some things i just can't understand in naruto: First, how does orochimaru build hideouts after hideouts if he can't use wood element, or anything of that sort? There are some crazy things that need to be clarified. xDD
But naruto is awesome so far, just hatin on the fillers.

well, the little known truth is that orochimaru was an adept architecht, and he always liked to build things....that is one of the main reasons he wants sharingan so bad, so that he can perfect his contructive eyes...
the whole power and jutsu thing is a complete cover up to " Oro the builder"
