anybody else thinks its a lil dumb that are chasing after Oro and Kabuto, while Naruto and Yamato are weakend if not drained, and Sakura is injured

Well its wasn't as bad as i thought it would. Sai showed his true face and Naruto is back and strengtened. Now I just wait for the next and hope it will be a bit more action-apcked and at least some insight will be given.

They drag the episodes as much as they can. Someone should make them clear that this anime can't go forever. Didn't watch the 44th yet but if it's like 43 then I won't bother looking at it now.

I have to admit that episodes 43 and 44 arent all that action packed nor did we get a HUGE fight between Naruto and Oro like we wanted, but they still hold some value. Even when I was reading this part in the manga I kind of just skimmed over it because I was ready to see the good part, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Plus you might wanna watch these episodes to understand better whats happening when the other parts come out.
The one thing I did like about this episode how Sakura was actually showing her feelings on how she really feels about Naruto.

it was good, I liked it, is just going too slow, i wish they give like whole hour episodes... but that only happens in my dream....

43 was good, but 44 is like it was suppose to be - I mean... spirits calm down... Naruto returns finally to his human state and they continue their mission...
and, yea, they drag the episodes as much as they can...I long for some action and bloody fights xD

i will admit, the dragging of the eipsodes does get a bit irritating. but for anyone who has ever followed any anime series, is it any surprise? i mean dbz was like king of making you wait. episodes upon episodes of just staring at each other & making "kkkkkk" sounds. why would naruto be any different? one thing that intrigues me about naruto is that, while it seems that naruto has become alot stronger, does his clone justu still have to be so uneffective? it seems that no matter how many he creates, they never seem to have much effect. do they ever really do much of anything? i was expecting some better taijutsu skills. majority of the time, naruto beats *put any boss name here* with a more singled out type of attack anyway i.e. rasengan or kyuubi transformation. a genjutsu would be nice. i know it's not his style but still. throw us a curve ball.

Yeah DBZ had those ''looking each other for hours'' moments, but then we would be awarded with a great fight afterwards and besides it's an older anime so you can't actually compare every detail with this one. I didn't read the manga parts where Orochi and Naruto fight so I was expecting some longer one. I mean, it's supposed to be a great battle, and it ended like some filler episode. Hell, even some fillers had more interesting ones than this. As for the dragging, it wouldn't be a problem if they would release 3 episodes at once =)

shippuden has had no filler episodes as of yet, everything i've seen in the anime is in the manga as well.
Also Hinata + Naruto fans are u crushed!? hahaha

good point about the good fight scenes after the long staring bouts. i too was kind of expecting a good fight, but it seemed all naurto did during one entire episode was sit on that darn rock & roar a few times. wow. white knuckle drama. please excuse me while i have a heart attack.
the hinata-naruto deal. i kind of think that this might happen: naruto at this moment in time & all episodes previously would basically do anything for sakura. but sakura has always been in love with sasuke. as soon as sakura starts to have feelings for naruto, hinata will come into the picture & do something or sacrifice something for naruto that it will change naruto's feelings from sakura to hinata. for some reason, japanese love stories always do that kind of thing, so it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. but then again, i wouldn't know. personally i like hinata better since she seems more sincere to naruto. plus i'm not a fan of pink hair...

Good point. I prefer Hinata too cuz I don't like Sakura eather. In a worse case we would have an ending of anime where everybody stares at the sky as a final scene, without knowing who stayed with who on the end.

I wish people would stop assuming that because DBZ did all Animes have done it. This is simply not the case. Very few anime's draw out fight seen's the way DBZ does. Heck Naruto has only just started doing that. Remember the Chuunin exams? There was fight after fight after fight. I do not think it is Ok to frustrate the shows fans just to make a few more bucks. There is no chance Naruto will catch up to the manga unless they start releasing multiple episodes a week. There is just no need to draw it out like this.

i'm not trying to assume. it's just something that i notice. i would agree with you and say that not all anime series do the same thing; some do & some don't. in my opinion, it's just japanese style to sort of over-dramatize the fight scenes a little bit since it's kind of what everyone is waiting for. i mean in terms of viewer audiences, it's a pretty good idea since it makes you want to watch the next episode just to see what happens. but at the same time, it's very, very frustrating. in my opinion it is also very unnecessary. but you must admit, that even during the chuunin exams there was a bit of 'stop & stare' moments, albeit not quite as long or frequent as it's starting to draw out now. i also feel that there were alot of 'side quests' that were just unnecessary & had nothing to do with the overall story. idate & the foot race? what does that have to do with anything except waste time? and i will
also agree and say that there is just no need to do this. my question to you, a manga reader (i try not to read since i feel it's kind of a spoiler), how much filler has been added so far? sounds to me from your post that they have added quite a bit. if that's the case, it's very disappointing.

There was a huge 100 episode or so filler spree that was after Naruto failed to bring Sasuke back till the start of Shippuden but there have been no fillers since. They are just putting in a really REALLY small amount of content into each episode.

what's sad about all of this is that within almost 50 episodes, there have only been 2 battles; the gaara fight & the akatsuki fight (i don't call the orochimaru fight a real fight). on top of that, there have been seemingly no other character appearances (besides slight cameo's) by many of the other characters...50 episodes into the series! you could say gai's team but still. is naruto shippuden just stricktly about...naruto? and no one else? what i enjoyed about the previous naruto series was how they managed to mix in so many of the other characters & at times make them the center of attention, alot of times for multiple episodes.
hey guess what! i know, for a fact, what will happen during this weeks' episode!
...absolutely nothing!

lol well the manga did do this too. But soon there will be a part with no Naruto in it with the other members of the rookie 9 instead.
And yes I'm guessing nothing will happen next episode as well.
P.S Glad you decided to be a bit active after all man

never said i
wasn't gonna be...like i said, i enjoy watching a cartoon
for some reason japanese cartoons are so darn addicting. they have something that american cartoons just don't have (besides good animation), you know? like, they actually put some thought into it. maybe it's all the drama. but as realistic & serious as they seem, at the same time they always overstress the emotions. like-
...hilarious...although i must admit, i'm kinda picky with the anime i watch. some tend to be a bit...gothy (is that the right word?). those don't really attract my attention. you know, dbz was always the front runner. i did enjoy the ranma & inuyasha series (same author right?). havent really gotten into the bleach & one piece series yet. i think i have to watch a bit more to make a strong opinion anyways. did enjoy the more original ghost in the shell. oh & the akira movie was bada$$. and i do enjoy final fantasy (the game as well as the movie).
