I'm not sure about what Pain meant about the "secret". But it is possibly something to do with his secret ability of the Rennegan. If Jiryia figured it out he could of easily killed all 6 because Jiryia managed to kill 3 but the Rennegan brought them back..

i dont think that all six of them had rinnegan. i think that they're just six people that yahiko disguises with the horns and paint crap and gives them fake eyes *like contact lenses* This gives the appearence that they all have rinnegan and are somehow linked because of their appearence. While the opponent is distracted trying to figure it out *like jiraiya was* yahiko, the real rinnegan user, sits somewhere above, watching and relaying his movements to the six people, Pain, through some kind of telepathic ninjutsu he developed through his rinnegan. Its kind of what jiraiya thought except the six don't communicate with eachother only yahiko communicates with them all.

they all have some special ability which is why yahiko chose them all. If they all truely had the rinnegan they would be masters of all ninjutsu not just one form of jutsu or fighting.

I think its all just one ellaborate trick made by yahiko to decieve his opponent. It probably isn't even close to what i think but i do think its just some trick.

Yahiko might call himself god because he watches the fighting from above while his pawns do the dirty work for him, making him feel superior.

I dont think it was genjutsu though, because the rinnegan is a powerful ninjutsu eye, not genjutsu like sharingan.

His secret is that Pain is related to Naruto ... In some way . At the end , before jiraya died , he saw different thing , and then saw naruto , and later at pain , some maybe there has to be sum conection between da both of them ..

It would be Nagato not Yahiko. Nagato was the chosen kid with the rinnegan, also decedent of the ninja of the six ways. One more thing they all had different angles on the fight in which all of them could see wut was going on. Maybe the rinnegan is a hypnotizing jutsu that allows the original user i.e. nagato to see through there eyes and control them. also each had a set priority summons, ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu and so on. Therefore maybe he just controls all the victims he kills. Like yahiko (which would explain y he looks like em), the ninja that gave the sannin their name, the ninja jaraiya met after he left the toad sage, the one nagato killed as a kid, and some other ninja jaraiya met. Maybe his six ways just gives him the ability to take control of six people with six different types of chakra. Then that in turn gives hi the ability to use all six to his own will. Therefore he sends a body after u which has the same type of chakra then when u kill that body he takes u after he summons the other bodies to kill u and suppress ur chakra with those weird swords.

We all originally thought that Nagato was the "Destined Child" who would either save the world by starting a revolution, or completely destroy it. Now we find that it's Naruto, Jiraiya said it in 382 page 17.

Jiraiya might have been talking to Nagato that time, Hotagi, since it was way before he said he knew who Pain really was. Most talented=Nagato.

Maybe Yahiko was like Sasuke. Got jealous all over the fact that the other grew so much and held so much power. >_> Both of them, Yahiko and Nagato, wanted to protect their little menage-a-trois *guffaw* (LOL sorry xD), but it's only Nagato who stated what he wanted.

Well kishi seems to like to portray 'History repeats itself' in his writing.....so i think Nagato sacrificed himself (cause he seemed to have that attitude after the jiraiya talk....) for his comrades and that deeply devastated the two and created this 'make everyone feel my pain' ideology in their minds.

Wow...As much as I wanted to gather all that information all at once it was just so many opinions. I think I'll just wait til the next chapter to come out because right now thinking about all of that is too hard.

What I think to be true is that... Negato who has the Rin'negan uses the SIX different bodies like the original Sage of the SIX paths. Each body possesses a certain skill of a high level. Of course Negato's real body is somewhere else.

Next thing is a wild stab but I think that Negato controls these six bodies and transforms them as a way to play on the opponent, using people they know which they have probably inflicted some sort of pain on. Negato would use this as a way to show them how it feels to be on the receiving end of pain..

OR maybe he just followed Jiraiya and decided to use those bodies because it has a significance with his teacher, the one who told him to conquer that pain.



Lastly, enough with talking about Yahiko. It's just his body. That is all. He is dead (presumably).
Either way it's too time consuming to keep thinking and come up with theories as to how and what is going to happen so we should all just wait and see... Patience.

Wow, i was reading through and your opinions guys opens more questions instead of closing them to get the answer.

for me pain has to be nagato, very simple, up until now we all are asking ourself "where is nagato, is he dead?"
well up until now we have this tips:

1- nagato, yahiko, konan were former students of jiraiya
2- nagato had the rinningan.
3- the most used pain is the one that resembles most yahiko
4- the other bodies were ninjas jiraiya faught while doing his researches
5- noone knows were is nagato
6- "The real one isn't there" (the code left behind by jiraiya)
7- They receive chakra by the black things (latest tip from latest chapter 420 page 15)

now putting this tips toghether i have gotten to the conclussion ma theory is going right, first yahiko is dead, if not, why would he be receiving chakra by the black ornaments they have all around their faces as same as the other former ninjas jiraiya fought? Also, if the real pain is not there, how come we all get to see the one that resembles yahikos body all over around? Konan is eliminated since she is not seing with the riningan, since kakashi's sharingan is seing all the times.
In conclussion it MUST be nagato hiden in the rain country, somewhere where he can control all the other pains with a jutsu he created, (since it cant be a genjutsu because the riningan is not a genjutsu eye), and the body of yahiko is just a distraction so that everyone gets confused on that theory everyone is getting based on, that he fought nagato to death and he got nagato's eyes to change the world.
