Dedicated to Sarah Longley - in loving memory of the times we shared and for the little while you spread happiness...
(all poetry works by me shall be put here over periods of time, tell me what you guys and girls think)
"The way it was"
Its hard to argue with you when what you say makes so much sense,
I mean, you hold the weight of your sky while I prefer painting mine blue to show wall'd innocence
you plant many fields of red reasoned roses whilst I prefer black petals on seasoned ocean rocks
and when you shout you dont even scream, you use me as a whispered barrage and fertile me to serene.
You plaster my pain with your own, covering our wounds
yet soon on sunny scattering of our blood love do I presume
that you too cry, the name hurt in your dark chested room
your eyes though then tell me not to assume,
because when your lips move you speak for us two both as we sit sipping tea at noon
Startled by battle scars, inflicted by a thousand stares or more
we do not even speak to subtle the mood
we just sit their sitting thoughts rounded by the moon
where which it boons to emotional mimic'ing trues like light inside it shines to move
It draws one tick closer to Nigh`
as we sip wine and speak maturely...
I close my pendant and say
"those were the good times,,, of how I loved you surely."
Heres the next one, used this in Shinnobi Inn cafe, got good responses.
Its how I see love.
Love a Satin Stitch
Love a born word of two
similar too red satin lace sown through
except we stitch and learn yet we do not find true
as to find in one phrase even a clue
three hundred threads are put together
similarly thought that this feeling we treasure
would last forever
however
a needle prickles
to despair and pain
as this emotion we care for tries to
sustain
even so we continue our piece
for even after trivia we see peace
happy that our craft work complete
we somehow find happiness
when love meets.
