Hi, I've got an LCD Samsung model: LE26R71B and everytime I play a Ps2 game, the picture appears all pixelated and I can see some vertical lines moving along with the picture.

At first I thougt it was the resolution but I recently bought an XCM Multi-Console Component Cable V2 (ps2/ps3, 360, Wii) and it didn't have any effect (I'm speaking only of PS2).

So what should I do?

isnt there a progressive scan option somewhere?
try that?

lol

also like they say games lag on those screens and it tunes it in to keep good

that's the problem!!! I have the 2 versions of Ps2 (the original and the thinner) and neither one of them has the progressive scan option in the menu.

the only option that i could find (and hope it's not the only one) is connecting the thinner ps2 to my hd tv and playing at least Prince of Persia, 'cause it appears that option in it's menu.

my original ps2 which has a chip so that i can play pirated games is no good perhaps because of the chip.

but if i play ps2 games in a ps3 does it appears the same problem?

to anyone that has a ps3, please tell me!!!
