I bought the Naruto movies and they're in Japanese (obviously) so when I go to play them I select English subtitles but they dont come up. Is it due to my DVD player or are the movies crap? I tried it with two of the three movies and no subtitles =( Any help would be appreciated thanks!

It must be your DVD'S because your dvd player wouldn't do that because the subtitles aren't connected to your dvd player!!! I've been in a technology class since 5th grade!!!!!!

yes ur right. but if the dvd's are form jappan they use a differn't encoding so go out and buy a chepo jappaniese dvd player (i mean FROM jappan not just made in it)

Just buy a new 50$ dvd player, those cheaper ones arent really picky and basically play everything.
