cmon .. i mean med's nice and smooth etc
he is pretty creative and got some skills
but it takes more than that...
look at npg's sig ...and try to make the same ...
i mean i could make a copy of med's
of course it wont be as good by far but it will look kinda same
now try to make a render fuse with the sig .... like npg's
you wont even get close to 10 % of what he has done

actually, no offense to npg, but i could recreate that sig, not exact but close. med's sig is unique. its a different style than everyone elses. his stands out which is why his is probably gonna win this.

This isn't a competition between me and Med lol (although that's what it seems to have become).

I've allways been the one to say that of all the people within Graphics on this forum - The one person that really demoralizes me is Med. His composition skills are immense and he is superbly skilled at using layers to their full effect.

That being said - This isn't his best sig by far.

Much prefer the one I fling around in my sig

hehe, ok then, lets make a battle thread between me and you. its ok with the creators of the sigs, sosama0 will try and recreate med's sig, while i try i recreate npg's sig.

NOTE: this is only if its ok with med and npg. it just makes things more interesting ya know.

NPG has his own style, Med has his own style.

Its just that this time, i prefer Med's over NPG's.

I admire both of these people on their different styles of making sigs. everyone is getting a little too hot headed over this battle thingy.

It took me quite a time to decide which one is better. But i like Med's better. His has more colour compared to NPG's. >.<

I voted for med, that is seriously some good uniqueness there. I've personally never made a pop-out sig before, so those attract me quite well. I liked NPG's too, all that fire is awesome. but good job to everyone!

There would be no point in recreating their Sigs. >_> Who the hell in the right mind would try anyways? You don't recreate someone's Sig even with their permission. Or at least NPG and Med's Sigs.

NPG's was different from his original Sigs. This one was blended better than any others. The effects were real good too.

Med's is flippin awesome, I've seen his stuff, and I like his style. The Naruto sig up there was great, but not his absolute best. Besides, Med's best Sig would have been some hot, pervy Anime chick. XDD

Think of it, if you want to draw something, & you already got a picture of what you want to draw in front of you,
will it be easier like that or without having that picture in the front of you?

We used ours own skills to make our sigs, not trying to reproduce a sig!

Trying to reporduce a sig is easy, but makin' one by yourself using your head, it's something else! xD

in ways, other than the one that me n sesoma were suggesting it for, reproducing sigs can be beneficial. reproduction can teach you different techniques and skills you wouldnt have thought of on your own. its not different then a tutorial or a drawing class, they show you something, you try a reproduce it on your own.

med your right in the fact that coming up with your own ideas is the hardest and best part of making a sig, n i wasnt trying to diss you or npg's skills.
