Don't really know. They're way too different. It is true that Kakashi specializes in ninjutsu and giujitsu ('cause of the sharingan), but Gai is really good at taijiutsu...and he is the only one that has discovered a technique to overpower the sharingan using only taijiutsu...They never had a real fight...they just amuse and keep themselves motivated (on Gui's part)
This should be in Naruto General. For the hell of it, I'll choose Gai. LOL, hopefully he wouldn't summon the tortoise to the fight
