i know this is kind of a stupid question 4 someone who reads the manga (alot),
but i couldn't help wondering where these huge frogs and stuff were before they were summoned...
if nobody knows, just say so...
no need for too maney threads saying the same thing.. if u know wat i mean....

Well, since they were summoned into the world using the jutsu (Kuchiyose), that means their origin is from another dimension, a world parallel to ours. Just like in Yuu Yuu Hakusho I suppose (the demon world).
Other than that, I wouldn't know of any other explanation......

A better question is that if each animal has their own world or do they come from some gigantor world

Hmm, good question thatguy. Now I'm wondering that myself....
But perhaps the answer is already there just like I've spoken. (the YY Hakusho dimension thingy)
Maybe the monsters, spirits and such do live in their same world, but in different territories just like human race do, we have clans, countries, etc 'to separate and differentiate' which are different from us to avoid conflicting, at least in the 'old days'...
So I do believe they all came from the 'same world'. But who knows.
In this world of anime and manga anything is possible.

but the summoned giants know other giants, like when the sanins' battle royale happened, gamabunta greeted orochimaru's giant snake (or the other way around, i cant remember exactly). i dont know how the other giants know about the other giants, and if they are in another dimension, why can they fight (or kill) other giants there? i mean, if the sanins battle ended in our dimension, why wont they continue it in their dimension?

Hmm, maybe it was just as I stated above.
They all came from the same gigantor world, yet lives in different territories to prevent conflicts.
Maybe they have wars among them too, but that is just theorizing things yet unknown.
Isn't Gamabunta the giant frog's leader, and Manda for the giant snakes? Just like a Hokage to a village.
But nothing in this thread is conclusive yet, just more speculations.
And I speculate further the reasons they don't continue their fights all the way back to their home world would be because it would mean massive war between their 'countries', which also means unnecessary bloodshed that will make either species come to extinction should it occur.
And all of them lives in controlled territories coz being outside means only survival of the fittest.
Maybe ......

...I never really thought abut this...just accepted it....Another dimension seams plausible, when considering that the idea is present in the story (Kakashi sent Daidara...or what’s his name in another dimension...or was it the bomb...don’t know...)

^^^ Yeah, im sure that's what it is, and that's how I would explain them knowing eachother.
^^^ and one more post up. They do come from scrolls. That's how it is, think of it as magic.
When Naruto first summoned Gamabunta he said something about sleeping and that he was "finally out"
There is no "other dimension" as far as, them being in their own world is concernd. Just a hyperbolic state that they sleep in inside of the scroll.
Such a funny topic, I know it was just inspired by the latest naruto episode though. Naruto asks this same question at the end of the credits after the episode is over.
