I loved it, i felt bad the Gaara is taken ... I read the manga so i knwo what happenes (dw, im not going to spoile it ) but kankuro should keep his paint of or w/e it is, he looks good without it

The episode was tight! The sand village seems like they are getting some things together...still a mess over there.

Naruto crying was something special o_o, shows he really cares about others. Him and Gaara would make the best team if you think about.

I hope they fight together in the future and become best friends and all dat Forget Sasuke, who needs that lil bastard.

Where is Neji's team when you need them, they should have come along on this mission as well.

I cannot believe the advisors or whomever they were had plans in the making for replacing Gaara. That was kind of annoying. I know its not because they don't particularly like him. Even if those were the same people who ridiculed Gaara as a child, they did make him Kazekage...but to start making plans for a new Kazekage all together so soon...well that didn't sit right with me at all.

I don't think I would have recognised Kankurou if there was no paint on his face at all. I wonder why he wears it. I also honestly couldn't believe Sakura didn't know Kyuubi was inside Naruto. I know it was forbidden for people to speak of it, but it just seems odd that after all this time, and knowing so much information about Akatsuki, one would think she'd know. Though Godaime Hokage would not have let it slip now that I think about it.

Chiyo, I didn't expect her to be so funny. Or her brother either. I got a kick out of him saying, "oi, you dead?" All laughter fell away pretty quickly...though we got a glimpse that this isn't your average old woman when she grabbed the fishing pole.
I cannot wait to see her in action!

I was under the impression sakura knew about kyuubi because of the lil cut sceen of her watching naruto when they were little and her parents saying something like "thats him" I think she was just shocked he was just like gaara or he was talking about it...Temari on the other hand seemed to have no idea he was just like gaara and had a demon inside him.

It was simply great...the first time I really enjoy Naruto since the intro of episode 1 of shippuden.

It did not drag, had some nice drama and action and the anime seemed to be picking up at last!

the Kankuro Sassori fight was great and Chiyo-baa couldn't be done better!

the only thing I hate about all shippuden is how lousy Naruto is drawn, he looks weird...but all other characters especially Sakura are much better than before.

I'd give this episode 9.5/10


@ rangger.....Sakura didn't, her parents and the older generation did, all kids knew that there was something wrong with him and that's why they avoided him but they did not know what it was exactly.

aaaaaww. i just loved sasori vs kankuro fight. they both are so awesome. and i also think that kankuro looks better without his make up and if he has to have that, he could use that one what he had when he was younger (it was better ^^).

ahahah, you're right. no one needs sasuke ! gaara - naruto team would be the best. and child didn't no anything about kyubi, they just didin't like naruto 'cos their parents avoided him.
but the ep was super and i can't wait to see more. ^__^

Well she certainly knew there was something bad about him from the way the adults acted, but she was surprised when Naruto told her. The scene you are referring to was her putting is all together I think.

It was a pretty good episode. Though the "don't use that power" line annoyed me a lot because it has a different meaning than what the manga said, which was "don't use that jutsu"

And I always love seeing the news that Naruto has the kyuubi inside of him
And I agree with you Vio, Naruto and Gaara should work together more, if Naruto becomes hokage, maybe it would strenghten konoha-suna relations

Yea they could become one super great village j/k but I think sakura is ok now, she used to annoy me so much, but shes smarter now, and nicer

I agree gaara and naruto would make a great team sauske sucks the little whiner Kankuro looks kinda weird w/o his makeup on, and the part where temari said kakashi was sexually harassing was weird I dont remember reading that is there something I dont know? lol oh well

idk maybe its just me but i thought that fight between kankurou and sasori was weak, i mean it was completely one sided sasroi just dominated him. It would have been nice 2 c kankurou do some type of damage 2 him. Other than that i thought it was a great episode.

dint think it was that great... fight was so-so... entry of chiyo and revealing of sasori's face were kinda interesting... lets just hope we see the kyuubi breakout sometime soon... will add some fun to the boring weeks...

I've never been a big fan of Kankurou, so I didn't really appreciate his fight. In fact I don't think I'll really be happy until I see some Byakugan action, whether it be from Neji or Hinata.

I love the fact that in animes there's a lot more action going on than in the manga though I love them both!

The episode wasn't that great, but on the other hand.....it makes me want to watch the next episode. They are really doing a good job letting me wait on the action. It's something I love and hate about anime.

Don't talk about Sasuke like that people!! Am I the only one who's looking forward seeing Sasuke fight? And Kankurou is lame, he hasn't got any awsome skills, hes weak.

I'm really hoping to see some good **** from Naruto. Something more than we saw with the fight Naruto+Sakura vs Kakashi!

the fight wasn't that great but it did show us the power of sasori, i was hoping for more from kankerou though. can't wait for team kakashi to show us what they got and naruto to show the others how much he's grown.

kinda dissapointing, mostly building up of the story

I wish I would have gotten into Naruto once the Shippuden episodes had all been fleshed out. Now though I have to sit here in anticipation instead waiting for some of my favorite characters to hit the scene like Kiba and Hinata (if only they were the main characters).

i think instead of calling it naruto it should be called gaara lol and i hate sasuke he is a lil freak

That fight was awsome

I liked Sasuke's character in season 1. He was edgy, motivated, wasn't a prick because the girls liked him, etc. Then when he left to join Orochimaru I really couldn't stand him. I want to see him and Naruto fight because they are clearly more talented than their Team 7 days. We haven't seen how strong Sasuke has become at all, even with the little tease we had with episode 1.

I was disappointed with the Kankurou/Sasori fight because I expected more. As for Kankurou, I don't think he is weak at all. He was at a severe disadvantage because Sasori was also a puppetmaster and if I am not mistaken, he was the one who created the puppets in the first place. If it had been someone else who didn't have so many years of experience with the puppets and if he wasn't poisoned we would have gotten a better show. As it was, he just didn't have the right opponent and he'd be better in a long-range fight too.

I agree that the latest ep was good build up, but still had it's own value and action. That first episode tease with Naruto and Sasuke meeting and almost fighting was kind a mean move. It made me totally think they'd get back to that scene soon, but now I think this arc is going to be all flash back to fill in the story up to that point where Naruto and Sasuke meet. Plus... (I haven't read any of the mangas yet) but I know I'm personally waiting for them to reveal that Naruto [spoiler] is the son or reincarnation of the Fourth Hokage somehow. The only part that doesn't make sense is his jutsu puts the seal on the tummy of the user and then they die. So, the way I see it: He used the sacraficing jutsu on himself, but then he must have done some other jutsu to de-volve himself back to infancy (sort of a counter death with life thing). Either that or you can pick the body of the target to use and the Third just picked his own.[/spoiler].

i love shippuden so much so far. i think Kankurou looks hella cool now too and though i see a lot of people saying they like him without make up i think it looks tight, maybe just without the cat ears. one thing that i'm really glad they changed was giving him scrolls to carry instead of lugging around both of the dolls on his back.

i'm anxious to see what Neji, Hinata and Rock Lee look like after growing up some. i'm sure Hinata and Neji have developed some pretty wicked techniques. i hope Lee is fast as lightning all the time now with his weights on and i hope he looks as muscular as i think he should.

as for the Gaara/Naruto team...i don't think it'd be too great of a combo, Gaara is meant to ride alone for sure and since some of his attacks take up the entire battlefield Naruto would get in the way...same with some of Naruto's attacks like summoning and mass clone jutsu.

i'm waiting to see if Sasori is all a puppet underneath everything except his head or what...thats what it looked like to me when they showed his mouth for a second. also i'm still wondering if Sasuke stabbed Naruto or not.

I feel the exact same way pandemoniumx, I'm just dying to see all the characters after all this time has passed and see how they've changed. I guess I probably shouldn't have gotten into anime, I'm just too impatient to wait for the story/characters to fully develop.

Some people wrote this weak that Sasuke is a bastard and that Kankarou is awsome. I also think Kankarou is a nice character in the story who can't be missed. But it's very anoying to read that Sasuke can be missed in the story. I disagree!!

It's fun to watch Kankarou in a fight with his jitsu. But you can't compare it with the SPEED, the EYES, his JITSU and especially his FOOTWORK and TIMING.

But I must agree with the statement that he is a bastard for leaving the village. The reasen why is very need though. Because we are going to see a lot of awsome fights.

I definitly want to see rock lee fight, thats gotta be a fight to be remembered (like Gaara vs Lee).

So we have much to look forward to!!! These first 15 to 20 episodes are really a good intro for the real stuff that's comming. The first 20 episodes are very good to show the powers of the members of team eleven. They are going to help naruto out, I'm shure of that.

But there is 1 BIG problem........................waiting for the action.............waiting all those weeks, it's a curse for all the Naruto fans.
