Rasengan [spoiler]because it is an incomplete Jutsu[/spoiler]...has a lot more possibilities than Chidori

rasengan is definitely a better jutsu, but I like chidori just because it looks cooler in animation

hmm, depends on who's doing it. if a master of rasengan and a master of chidori both used it against say a brick wall or something i'd say rasengan no problem, but chidori's is stronger if u can't do a good rasengan.

I like the resengan ALOT better,but doing the chidori is alot more fun(don't ask,lol)

rasengan for strenght chidori for style and it looks more difficult to do

thats an easy question... of course rasengan is way better....
1stly: rasengan is an S-rank ninja techique while chidori is an A-rank one... altho many say both are just A-rank ones...
2ndly: rasengan doesnt have a limit, it can be used as long as Naruto has chakra, while Chidori could be used only three times.. I dont know if now Sasuke's grown older and more powerful he can perform it more times...
3rdly: combined with Naruto chakra's nature, wind, rasengan becomes a lot stronger but also dangerous for naruto himself when he uses it... also, combined with kyuubi's chakra, it becomes very powerful...

Of course the ragsagan because it can only be used by a speical type of chakra .. well thats what i heard..

the rasengan is so much better than the chidori.

1st. Its power is better since it can do more damage.

2nd. From what ive seen Naruto has 3 rasengan's and sasuke only has 2 chidoris

I do have to give it to the chidori though on the looks but only the first 2 original ones

when it comes to to the second full body chidori and the shuriken rasengan the shuriken rasengan is so much better in all aspects looks and power.

Finnaly the shuriken rasengan is the chidori's weakness since they are elemental jutsus.

oh and MatheAks it dosnt use a special type of chakra cuz if you saw when naruto was learning the shuriken rasengan Kakashi did the rasengan.

Rasengan is more powerful and dont seem to have a limit use per day, the chidori does. But I'd have to say chidori looks cooler unless naruto can shape shift his wind-base Rasengan into a sword also ^^

i dont know if chidori can be improved like rasengan or not??.if chidori cant be improved by user.its so much weaker than rasengan(its all about pumping more chakara into ur rasengan)so if u train harder u can pump more chakara into ur rasengan and make stronger.

Hard to decide, both of them are extremely strong and cool looking techniques. What I find funny though is that Naruto learned Rasengan from Jiraiya, yet Naruto has advanced Rasengan far more than anyone has. Same goes for Sasuke, he learned Chidori from Kakashi, yet has advanced Chidori better than Kakashi. Funny, no? The students beat the teachers.

As for regular Rasengan against Chidori, we've already seen the outcome, it seemed that Chidori was better, but Rasengan did more damage (flashback to the Naruto vs. Sasuke rooftop fight).

As for Rasenshuriken against whatever the name was for that new Chidori, wind beats lightning, so we can see the outcome right there, I just hope Naruto isn't so much of an idiot t use it wrong and give Sasuke the upper hand.

im gona go with rasengan because the wind affinity is said to be the best at close and midrange and the possiblities like the rasenshuriken and jiraya's ultimate rasengan i go with that. but When it comes to looks and sounds chidori wins hands down

depends on where you look at it from if u think about how chidori is pretty much useless to any1 with out sharingan then chidoris pretty dahm gud as 4 rasengan its all about 2 factors 1 are we talking pre wind manipulation rasengan or post and 2 does it really matter if you loes a rm while using it.

lol on which is better id go for chidori as u've got a better chance of hitting the opponent (i honnestly fail to see how the hell naruto keeps tricking suposed nijas into taking this attack head on) but powerwise i dont think they can be evenly compaired ones like a bullet the others a power drill kinda dont mix in competisions

I agree with Archie too Lol. Only because I like Chidori more though. Three times only is bogus though. Sasuke probably uses it 5 times more then he is suppose to. But depending on the situation, Rasengan would probably win. But it would hurt Naruto himself to beat Sasuke's full powered chidori. Most likely anyway.

Damage-wise, yes, Chidori pierces right through things, as for Rasengan causing more destruction and sending wild amounts of chakra everywhere.

Yeah Rasengan wins hands down, I mean if you look back at it when Naruto and Sasuke duked it out on the hospital roof, Naruto would have killed Sasuke if they would have actually collided...damn you Kakashi, but either way you cant say the Chidori wins, because it doesn't even if it looks cooler, looks don't determine power
